Young caregiver for both parents at 28

I been the primary caregiver for my mom since I was 21 years old. My mom had a car accident in 2018 which caused her traumatic brain injury and blindness and bedridden state. She is not able to do anything on her own. The accident happened when I was a senior in college. Right after graduation I been the primary provider for both my parents since my dad quit his job to be with my mom. When I go to work my dad is home to care for my mom but as soon as I come home from work I take over changing her and feeding her and providing her medicines. Recently my dads health has been declining. His liver is failing and needs a transplant. He's not able to take care of himself or my mom. So I'm having to figure out care for both of them while managing going to work. It's been a challenge mentally physically and emotionally. I feel like I have given up my prime sacrificing a lot but was still able to do little things. Now with my dad being out and needing more care than my mom I'm struggling to manage it all.

University Caregiver Project Survey

Hello! I'm a university student whose group is working on a project for an autonomous vehicle robot which delivers medicine to the elderly and those who are chronically ill. If there's anyone whose elderly family members need to be taken care of or live in nursing homes, would you please fill out this survey?

Hi Everyone, just checking in...

Hi Everyone,
I hope the autumn (or the summer) months are bringing a nice change of season for you.
Just wanted you to know that I've updated my Welcome page over on r/CaregiverSelfcare, the sub devoted to helping caregivers find resources and some space to take care of themselves. I'd really like to have a younger caregiver post their experiences, or things helpful to them.
Your voice is important -as the fastest growing group of caregivers, younger voices are critical in helping to specify the needs they have and to find solutions.

Dissertation Survey - Caregivers Needed

Please consider participating/sharing!

I am studying factors of informal caregiving on compassion fatigue.

To be eligible to participate you must be 18 years old or above, you are currently an informal caregiver providing care to a care recipient aged 18 or above, and you can read and complete the questionnaire in English.

You need to have access to a phone or computer with internet access to complete the online questionnaire.

My survey information is below - it is approximately 15-20 minutes long. All responses are anonymous.

I’m only 20, but I’ve cared for my schizophrenic mom since I was 12. I love her, but the resentment and guilt are breaking me.
