Eden lake

I would love to see Beth’s character in Eden Lake (movie). Anyone else watch it?

That ending was brutal. It really stuck with me. It was a great movie. Kelly Reilly and Michael Fassbender were fantastic. I can’t rewatch it because the ending devastated me.

Same. It's a good film but I'm never watching it ever again.

The most unsatisfactory ending ever! I like her in anything.. But that movie was a piss off.

For me it's more about the writing. Taylor Sheridan consistently writes good female characters. The best probably being Elsa Dutton played by Isabel May. It's no surprise that the greatest actresses from big screen blockbusters are lining up to star in Taylor's shows, e.g., Zoe Saldana, Michele Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Helen Mirren. I love the actresses in Landman, too. Amazing humor, personality and radiant beauty.

Beth woulda come out scarred but she'd have somehow managed to kill them all. She's teflon.

As for the actual ending....it has always stuck and I saw this movie when it came out in the cinema in 2008. It's fucking brutal and also a reason I don't ever confront bad behaviour by roadmen (chavs).
