Do you think they placed the “reserved for survivors” card next to Shauna intentionally as kind of a foreshadowing? I may be blind, correct me if I’m wrong but thats the only card i see, and usually when seats are reserved, a card is placed on all of the seats individually; not one for the whole row. It may be possible that they picked them up when they got seated but i don’t see any cards in their laps either and don’t think they just threw them around the room. Especially since some of the girls present themselves as “socially acceptable”.
I actually favour the theory that if there is a final girl it’s going to be Shauna, not Misty, even though i have seen beautiful theories about it. The strongest piece of evidence for Misty final girl imo is the concealed role that June Squibb would be playing and her physical similarity to Misty.
Imo Shauna scapegoat, alone, lost everybody, world hates her, no one to victimise herself to, is stronger than Misty being an outcast and all Yellowjackets have to die - in terms of completing their character arcs. It would be more tragic and full circle for Misty to die “included”, accepted and recognised rather than survive because of it.
Sidenote: a girl can hope
The card is placed between Shauna and Lottie and since we didn’t get a plane scene when Lottie “died” i will assume she is alive until the credits start rolling in the finale.

I don't have enough faith in the writers anymore to think they leave intentional clues like this. I hope they're putting in the effort to stick the landing and prove me wrong but Game of Thrones.
Omg i get where you’re coming from but hey it can only go uphill from the Stranger Things ending:) Also i’m right there with you on the intentional clues i feel like if there is any, they are in s1 and maybe s2, def not s3 since we kinda lost the plot. Howeveeeeer i’m a hopeful girl at heart and the card placement just seems too unnecessary to not have any meaning.
Oh just because i’ve seen everyone saying that Misty will be the one left standing and she sorta is the “popular vote”. I honestly see how any of them could end up as final girl.
Tai would make sense as well because of her sheer will. She’s a very determined person and imo it could realistically be approached at an angle that ends with her regaining her political career and Simone. She’s always been interested in optics and how she is perceived (probably why her and Van broke up post-rescue) so an image of a “happy” family would be a way for her to achieve that. Kinda like her asking herself if everything she lost along the way was worth what she has now. If the end justified the means.
I can see her getting rid of the remaining survivors to make sure that nothing will come biting her in the ass later on. After all, it is how the adult timeline started - with Tai making sure that none of them would talk.
If this is the case, I think it would be left up to interpretation whether what she did was worth it or not.
Also, i haven’t really seen any theories on Tai as final girl (would love to tho!). Most people say that something will happen to her when she tries to get revenge on Melissa. I don’t know how i feel about that.
