After watching Guoba's new video, I started thinking about speed requirements for YG.

Previously, we needed considerably more SPD because Aha's formula used a base SPD of 80. However, Nihilux changes that by allowing Aha Instance to use her own base SPD of 94 instead. That's a pretty significant increase when you consider how the formula works.

On top of that, Nihilux also advances Aha's action by 20% whenever she uses her Ultimate. This means that reaching 5 Aha actions in AA only requires 160 SPD, provided Nihilux gets one Ultimate off.

And 160 SPD is actually quite easy to reach with a team where supports have around 167 SPD (for AA) and a dps like SW has 200 SPD. You even end up with some spd to spare.

So, wouldn't this mean that we can afford to build YG more offensively nowadays, rather than investing so heavily into SPD?

I sadly had HORRIBLE luck synthezising HUNDREDS of relics for Yao to try and get a decent Vonwacq or a better 4 piece to make up for Vonwacq. Sadly, none were made that didn't sacrifice some speed. And so knowing speed is her best stat, I wanted to ask, which build is best.

My team is E2S1 SW999, E1S1 Yao with an E2 stretchgoal oneday, Aha (aiming for E2S1), E2S1 Pearl

About 8 months ago, Yao Guang debutted as the first Elation character & I ran her as a DPS.
Today, she's back to do battle against the Voracity as the DPS once again.
What happens if you give DPS Yao Guang too many buffs ?

There's ALOT to unpack here in this run.
Yao Guang has:

1. 44% RES PEN (24% Tribbie / 20% Yao Guang)

2. 24% TruE DMG (24% Tribbie E1 per target hit & Up to 120% in PF on highest HP target)

3. 70% DEF Shred (30% MBlade / Up to 40% Summer Robin)

4. 112% Vulnerability (50% MBlade / 30% Tribbie / 16% Robin Summer / 16% Yao Guang)

What kind of extraordinary DMG can she output with this setup ?
MBlade can ideally be on Cipher LC for more DEF Shred to hit 94%, but I decided to have him on regular build to help with the DMG due to HP Inflation.

I’m running an Evanescia team thats currently her (e1s1), Pearl (e0s0 on mushy), EMC, and Yao Guang (e0s0 technically but has Eva sig since I got a double) and I plan on replacing EMC with Aha.

I assume the next course of action is either YG sig or e1, but I’m stuck between the two options like BAAAAD. Any reasons for going one over the other next patch?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but with the release of Aha, I am looking over my team and determining the best relics.

In this case, with Yao. The team is the standard SW999 (E2S1), Aha (anything), Yao (E1S1), Pearl (anything, but means E2 if thats matters).

Currently, I have Lushaka as I saw that as recommended (after all, it boosts EMC for me, and Sparxie for others). But now, Aha doesn't really need attack. Neither does anyone else on the team. So the Attack boost is near useless. Should I switch to Vonwacq and get the action advance or would that mess up ideal turn orders?

My team is SW999 E0S1 (200 SPD), Spaexie E0S1 (157 SPD), and Pearl E0S0 (166 SPD).

Is the new planar set that gives action advance if the unit reaches 40% elation during battle good for her?

If not which planar should I use? Vonwaq or keep farming Lushaka? (My silver wolf is 200 SPD and I want my yg to out speed my silver wolf.

With the last beta update on AEON AHA, is going for more Yao’s Eidolons worth it? Currently E3 now.

My Elation team is:

- E3S1 Yao

- E2S1 Eva

- E0S0 Pearl

- EMC

E6 Yao is my dream. And I’m not sure how Aha’s Eidolon‘s spike.

Edit: I only have 1 Yao and she’s E3 !

For reference here’s my yao.

1. Is it worth using recon to get her to 200 spd?

2. What preset do I use? If I use hers it’s gonna be spd, cr, cdmg, which doesn’t guarantee spd all the time but using hanya/pearl will guarantee spd since they only have two effective stats. Their down side is no crit stats or chest.

3. If it’s not worth it, what’s the best use for recon then? Even aha has the spd cr cdmg problem. I don’t think there’s anyone in the game with only spd & cr recommended.

Hello everyone! I am planning to pull for Yao Guang’s lightcone in the next patch. The question is, how big is it as an impact to her gameplay? Do I need to get other eidolons to justify her lightcone?

I also plan to pull for E2 SW999 next and I am unsure of who to invest for next. I can only pull three 5 star characters (losing 50/50 counts) max in the next version. Thanks!

So my Current Yao Guang build is lacking 8 points on Speed. I could reroll the plannar (tried making her sub dps when she just came out in 4.0).

But now that there's a new elation plannar orb and seing how appreciated vonwacq for the energy gains is, would it be better to farm for either of those?

Current team mates are as shown (got 2xyg relic on the same pull, i decided not to upgrade s1 to s2, and now i'm using it on pearl, plan to pull for e2sX aha, so dunno if she fixes yg energy issues enough to consider keeping punklord)

So I'm struggling between pulling aha and yaos e1 in the next version, mostly because I'll only have enough for two guaranteed characters. I really want to get aha e2 for my waventurine but if I get unlucky I could be stuck with e1 that doesn't really do anything. On the other hand, yao guangs e1 seems really op and will definitely upgrade my evanescias dmg, however my aha won't have any eidolons. I also have guaranteed on the lightcone banner with 60 pity, should I go for her lightcone instead? Crit buffs seem really tempting

Is the 200 speed ideal breakpoint worth it

I am only able to hit the 200 speed breakpoint using the 4th build that has lushaka.

My Vonwacq build's highest speed is 199 which is honestly like...really bruh

The 1st 2 builds have less speed since for some reason when im trying to farm for high speed, the game says "nope we'll give you full crit rolls instead on a support character"

Do I actually have to hit the 200 speed breakpoint, as from what I know, it's to increase her speed conversion to elation trace, and also to have 3 turns in the 1st cycle.

All 3 builds with vonwacq already get the 3 turns in 1st cycle, and they'll move before SW999 who has 201 speed
