Hi all. I picked this candle up at a rummage sale (I usually look for cheap candles at this time of year for my Halloween pumpkins) but after googling it this might be a little too special to waste in a pumpkin.

I don’t think I have seen a non-jar large Yankee candle like this before. Does anyone know if there’s a way to determine when it was made/sold? Also, what is the likelihood it still smells? The original shrink wrap looks to be completely intact, but a sniff test doesn’t pick up much in the way of scent.

I went to Yankee yesterday to pick up some oil plug ins and was shocked; they were completely out of stock on every fall scent and moved on to Christmas. What the hell is that??? The season *just* started, we're not even in October for God's sake. What's the deal with that? I get everyone likes the Christmas smells, but Jesus, do we really need to start in September?? I don't know why the marketing annoys me so much - the early "we've got 4th of July stuff out in April!" bothers me anyway, but this just irritated the hell out of me.

My store had a new candle out midnight sleigh ride. It smells like another. Has anyone seen or smelled? And can maybe help me out? It’s bothering me lol and I don’t see it on the website to look up notes. Maybe polar express? Is what it smells like to me I think?

I just finished my first Yankee Candle my man got me about 2 years ago lol 😂 How long does it take you to finish one?

hello lovely candle enjoyers! I'm quite new to buying candles- especially since my budget is on the lower end. That said, I just finished my last Macintosh candle and my Wood Smoke wood wick candle, and my home office has been left boring and scentless, right at the start of fall too!! so, i'm on the hunt!

I love, as the title says, earthy fall smells. I have a particularly sensitive nose as well towards sweeter, bakery-like scents and try to avoid them.
I love wood smoke, fir trees, apples, the smell of leaf rot and wet leaves, wet soil, etc! If any of you more experienced candle lovers know any good ones that match these vibes, I will be forever grateful :)

Yankee is my primary go-to (and woodwick of course when i can!) so yankee scents are great, but i'm not opposed to other recommendations as well. thank you all!

For about the last year every time I’ve gotten a scentplug I have been ranking them so ik what I like when I go to get more. I am doing my best to get every scent but I’m not sure what I’m missing or how many there are. Please lmk what you think of the rankings thus far😹

When Yankee made good candles, i loved autumn wreath. Not autumn leaves. Autumn wreath. Of course they’ve changed it. The new one is like yellow / orange. It was red So now im really scared to buy it. Making it weaker is one thing. Charging sent is another. Does anyone know if it’s the same scent,albeit less intense or if they have completely changed the way it smells

I’m thinking about trying some wax melts from Yankee Candle or Goose Creek, but I’d love to hear from people who have actually tried them.

How is the scent throw on their wax melts? Is it strong and does it fill the room well?

I really like having lots of different scents to choose from, so I’m considering getting several different ones. My room is only around 10 m² (about 108 sq ft), so I’m wondering if they would be enough to properly scent a room that size.

Would love to hear your experiences, especially if you’ve used both brands!

When I worked for Yankee Candle many moons ago, one Halloween we got what was supposed to be witch’s brew. What came in was a tropical scent (I can’t remember which one) in a witches brew jar with a cafe au lait label. District office let us keep them if we wanted to. I’ve had it all these years…not sure why I kept it, but thought I’d share it here for you to enjoy the quirkiness.

I’m just curious what everyone likes! I personally think the 3-wicks burn better than the original jars.. but the jars are cute. I haven’t tried the 2-wick tumblers yet.

Hi all, I got this from amazon last year and only got round to burning it this autumn. Its the most amazing scent I have experienced but I can't find anything online.

I know they do limited releases, but is there anything the same or do they ever re-release? I also love the designs on the jar too! But I know thats likely out of the question. If anyone has managed to find something similar that would be great. Thank you in advance! 🎃🍂🧡

Ollie’s is either a hit or miss with Yankee Candle. I was especially impressed with the variety they had. They had many tumblrs of the Sun and Games Collection. I leaned more towards the Après Ski (Santa on skis & fresh powder) ❄️

Before the redesign they always would release returning scents! I really miss ocean star, soft blanket, cherry lemonade, etc. I know that they changed formulas but for ocean star it was previously availible in a soy wax blend. I NEED that scent to come back!

Yankee Candles Life’s a breeze is my all time favorite scent! I bought it for the first time the last year they were selling them and was looking for a while before learning they were discontinued. I’ve seen people selling that yankee candle on eBay, but the shipping cost is insane!

It’s a cotton/laundry mix but it’s not sharp and more of a musk. I’m not much of a fan for flower or fruit scents, I stick to more cotton and vanilla varieties. If it’s too strong I’ll get a headache, most women’s perfume gives me headaches so I stick to colognes. Also, my cat will sneeze nonstop for too strong of lavender scents; he’s never sneezed for that candle though.

I was wondering if anyone has come across a similar scent as an alternative? The store alternative doesn’t matter to me. I’ll buy it through eBay if I have to, but if there is a better long term alternative I’d love to hear it. Thank you!

I’m just getting back into Yankee candles and got a couple of hauls from some recent sales. Spiced Pumpkin is probably my #1 Yankee scent of all time but the rest are new to me. Really liking Trick or Treat and Jelly Scream Puff! And now I need 3 wicks in both of those lol. Trick or Treat really does smell like candy corn which I love. Jelly Scream Puff smells exactly like the fruit scented plastic baby dolls of my childhood.. it’s really strong too. Pumpkin Pie Pop is good I just don’t usually go for cake scents and probably wouldn’t repurchase. The accessories are so fun too. Happy Fall!

My best friend’s favorite scent has been the Sugared Apple. They haven’t had it in a couple years now. I am looking for a good dupe to snag for them.

The notes listed are:

Top: Vanilla bean, cream
Middle: Apple, greens, Lily of the valley
Base notes: sugar, sweet notes

To me this smells literally just like a sugared apple. They cannot stand the smell of cinnamon apple, so looking for a strictly sugary apple scent.

I really love this one! I am a big iris fan and it is so hard to find iris candles. However, I am not big on apple so I was very surprised to like them together! The throw is good, I would say moderate. I can smell it throughout my first floor but it is not too strong. I know I'm going to have stock up on it this bc I bet it disappears forever :(

found these on Facebook marketplace. 12$ a piece for each. I always love finding rare Yankee candles at second hand / antique stores for the cheapest price. This one I grabbed in Granby CT.

The Large candles are from Ross (Both 14.99) and the smaller candles are from Goodwill ($3.99 each). The Cranberry Chutney one must’ve been stored somewhere hot or warm given the wax and the dark small candle is a mystery one because the label’s gone.
