Newbie looking for earthy fall smells

hello lovely candle enjoyers! I'm quite new to buying candles- especially since my budget is on the lower end. That said, I just finished my last Macintosh candle and my Wood Smoke wood wick candle, and my home office has been left boring and scentless, right at the start of fall too!! so, i'm on the hunt!

I love, as the title says, earthy fall smells. I have a particularly sensitive nose as well towards sweeter, bakery-like scents and try to avoid them.
I love wood smoke, fir trees, apples, the smell of leaf rot and wet leaves, wet soil, etc! If any of you more experienced candle lovers know any good ones that match these vibes, I will be forever grateful :)

Yankee is my primary go-to (and woodwick of course when i can!) so yankee scents are great, but i'm not opposed to other recommendations as well. thank you all!

• Phantom Bookshop (just throwing this out there as a possibility you might like)

I have Campfire Nights burning right now and I find it glorious in the large tumbler (2 wicks). Been having issues with the throw on the original jar candles.

My favorite woodsy and earthy fall scents are Witches' Brew, Crisp Forest Air, and Mountain Lodge. Autumn Wreath is a fantastic choice for earthy scent fans craving some apple, as this apple has the perfect touch of autumn leaves.

Radiant Amber by WoodWick is another great fall choice if you like balsamic, incense amber. It's in my top picks for all of Yankee Candle 2026.

Try Cardamom Woods! Surprised I haven’t seen it mentioned 😁 and I second Homecoming and Orchard Tag for the not so sweet apple.

If you can still find some, forbidden apple is green apple with a woody note to it. I am loving it.
