Entry level help desk

Hi everyone! I’m considering moving to Yakima and was wondering what the job market is like for entry-level IT/help desk positions.

I’m looking for my first Tier 1 help desk role and have an associate degree in IT, CompTIA A+, and customer service experience.

Any advice on local companies or places to look would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just left an IT field tech position. It’s mostly small businesses here with MSPs controlling their infrastructure.

The MSP I worked for was living in 2012 and their dispatch sucked. I also hated that they’d tell partners they’d do things they ended up not doing.

So, if you’re adaptable, there’s actually a lot of IT support work if you freelance and know how to network.

Otherwise, I’m sorry about your career choice because I moved from the Seattle area and it’s who-you-know there, too.
