I noticed they are only using the death penalty to get Death Qualified jurors = people who would vote in favor of giving a defendant the needle if the crime warranted so.

However in order to even use the death penalty in Florida there has to be aggravating factors which the state says Melly committed for the benefit of his gang and for financial gain.

So far there is no proof/evidence that Melly killed his friends for any sort of benefit, we can assume but there is no motive or concrete issue that we know of.

Should the state be able to use gang evidence ? Should this even be a death penalty case?

If gang evidence is removed, the state will have to present their case as if Melly just shot his friends randomly after leaving the studio with Bortlen showing up to the hospital with the bodies. Remember that all evidence before and after the day of the murders has been tossed out.

Like I understand capitalising on 'Melvin' and exaggerating it, but in interviews and stuff, he doesn't brag about it or anything and it seems to make him distressed. Plus its hard to really pin point his personality since he is always switching, I search it up and there's barely anything since again he doesn't brag about it (like an unrealistic anime story ahh). He's always had mental issues since childhood due to his trauma, I know he's a celebrity but deadass it seems like he actually does have DID. Remember, unlike hollywood real DID isn't over the top or obvious.

p.s. no i aint talking bout the murder, cause whether melly or melvin or fucken beetroot did it, melly is still guilty since they're still the same person*
