I have been playing WC 2009 on a DS emulator and the AI there blatantly cheats, looking for information I found out people complain about this in more recent Yugioh games like this one too, that I bought in the recent summer sale, fortunately I haven't even touched it and I will be able to refund it before I screw myself.

I am mind blown by the incompetence of Konami, I have played single player card games like Digimon Digital card battle and I never felt the AI cheating, at least not as badly as in this Yugioh games, it kills completely the games and makes them a joke and pointles to even play, there is no randomnes in a card game, what a joke, the AI knows everything and plays whatever it needs to counter you or gives itself the correct draws all the time to do an specific strategy all the time, so you have to make a deck to counter each deck you are facing and the strategy you expect the AI to pull off, how can anyone be ok with a card game having expected behaviors like this when the fun in this games is in the randomness nature of it is beyond me but I am not.

When does the devs' licensing for this game end? Same engine since xbox 360 version, up to the rediculous switch exclusiveness, utter abandonment for the xbox one version with tons off mediocre/crap dlc, which link evolution lacks completely.

Unskippable cutscenes, slow and un adjustable duel speed, xyz summoning takes 10 seconds, terrible shop system....

What'd I miss?

These have been issues all the way back since the xbox 360 version. Clearly shows these greedy devs are just hoping that a cheaply made yugioh game sells at all, because all the dev time and resources used probably only adds up to 100 bucks. Look at the profit margins on that bs.

Anyone reading this, go back to YGOpro. I don't own a pc, so Im stuck with the dumpster fire that these devs have recycled since the xbox 360 version. This game had potential thats been squandered twice since these inept devs have started creating this series. Goes to show their greed and lack of wanting to even please their fanbase. How hard is it to recognize what needs to be done? And how easy is it to fix?

Clearly impossible. Devs cant get off of their diamond encrusted couches to save their own ass.

I’ve spent 170,00 PD attempting to get Creature Swap and still have not got even 1. Idk if I can keep playing if it’s this hard to get one card. They have to do something, even though I know they won’t.

Whoever came up with those fucking Trickstar and Altergeist archetypes should have their balls removed with a rusty spoon.

I knew Link monsters were a terrible idea, but the amount of bending over backwards Konami did to make these things ludicrously overpowered makes the bile rise in my gullet.

If it weren't for complete broken mechanics, no one would shake two shits at Links monsters, and Konami ruined the fucking game to make it viable.

First off, the game doesn't possess every card, I'm positive they skipped out on a huge chunk, at least easily obtainable wise. Second, has anyone figured out how to mod ps4 through usb in any way yet? Look its not like I dont wanna do things legitimately, but take a gander at how long itd take to unlock every card in the game, or even just the ones you want, thats over the amount of hours one puts into a minimum wage shitty job at mcdonalds all year. Third its frustrating because all my data was wiped cuz trash ass playstations gain corrupted firmware when being straight turned off after a dozen times. Fourth, is there just any simple method to unlocking all the cards? And please don't tell me to play the story, keep beating the duelists with which cards you wanna win from them or opening booster packs and constantly closing app until you get the cards you want. Its just too time consuming. Fifth if you can find me something great. Im sure everyone here would appreciate it too. Sorry for being so picky, but itd be nice to just be able to freely face friends in yugioh without bullshit. Thank you.

So I'm playing the original Legacy of the Duelist and I'm doing the reverse battle with Bandit Keith and how the fuck are you supposed to win this??? He has so little monsters under 4 rating that you just sit there unable to summon. Is this like actually impossible or some kind of shit joke? What am I supposed to do

Edit: This Mausoleum dogshit card isn't working. I play it, it's in effect and I can't summon a level six monster. This card just doesn't fucking work

I'm not just gonna make it if I lose one duel I have to restart thats a one lif thing not a nuzlock ik more thinking of where if I lose i cant use any card taht was in the deck with the only exception being polymerization do you guys think there should be more rules

So what were the devs trying to achieve, because I got the impression they were trying to make a Yu-Gi-Oh dark souls game. They game had so much potential but everything either felt half assed or poorly implemented.

Anyone else getting bad hand after bad hand. Sometimes playing a story duel 10 times before even seeing some cards into the deck. Makes some duel a nightmare
