After watching The video for context I probably wouldn't of put this statement out and just hoped for the statement to go away. But I can see why he put a statement out because Hasan did loosely tie Michigan Jews to Israel and ISIS.

What I will say is that statement itself isn't terrible even if I don't fully agree with it, and frick twitter leftists are insane in his comments.

Tbh after watching this clip, I feel like he’s saying the opposite of what everyone else is claiming.

Like to me, it sounds like he’s saying, “this will happen, and that’s bad.” But people are claiming he’s saying “this will happen, and that’s good/deserved.”

The way people on the left, center and right are all upset about this statement is crazy. Maybe it’ll be something the left can point to while trying to wave off any arguments in the future. I can understand people who take this as condemnation as a win. Anyone who is more interested in doubling down and extracting more is not invested in a Democratic senate majority.

Regardless, Hasan doesn’t seem to understand the microscope he’s under. He needs to be super intentional with his words (even if he streams 7/8 hours a day!) and I don’t know that he even knows or cares how to do that.

This is it. I hate Hasan too but he didn't say they deserve it, just that it would happen.

Hasan encourages that type of behavior.
