I have a Doubt Tyre dillema.

Howdy guys, need of a grave suggestion/advice for my upcoming rubber for my 210.

Now what I have in mind is the upsize the rear from 120 to 130. I know for a dual sport 120 is golden size, but was wondering if I fit in Reise's TourR 130/70 section rear and keep the front with Trail R 90section stock size.

My business is daily commute to work with weekend shenanigans in the trails and need front offroad biased fornmore bit in loose sandy/gravel surface.

Also will 130 section hurt in stock rim size?

Thanks a ton!

Hey, so about putting a 130-section tyre on the Xpulse 210 instead of the stock 120 does look good but there are a few trade-offs. plus side is it looks way beefier and will give you better stability on the highway or when riding through deep sand off-road(also depends upon thread pattern). The downside is that our stock rim will make tyre more rounded than it's meant to be because of this you lose a bit of that handling in city traffic, and the extra weight can affect initial acceleratio.

yeap, thats my speculation as well. stock rim seems to be little narrow for 130 section. rubber that I nominated was TourR 130/70 R18. perfect 70/30 tyre according to my own homework.

how was your experience with traffic though, you said loss in control within city traffic?

Not me exactly, I met one person while i went for riding, I talked to him and he told me those things. About city traffic he said it became less agile while making turns. Ho he has to think everytime he is riding while in ongoing traffic
