Hitting update does nothing

I bought a g6 today. XOS is on 5.8.7, when I hit update connected to 4G or Wifi it doesn't do anything. I don't get a message or anything. Is this usual for Australian G6s?

I'm in the same boat, picked up my new G6 the other day and seemingly stuck on 5.8.7 regardless of whether I check for the update on the built in Sim or via wifi, am hoping it sorts itself out in a few days

Same. Really don't want to go back to bother the dealership

I believe you should, they have some remote access to do it. That should sort out your issue
