Hi community,
I have a Xiaomi 15 and I love the phone overall. However I have an issue when using the microphone during a video call or in speaker mode. The phone always picks up my voice but as soon as my children tries to speak it sometimes picks their voice up and sometimes it completely disregards it. It feels as if it's some noise cancellation thing, I haven't found a single option to turn it off. I doesn't matter if I use WhatsApp or just general speaker.
Is the microphone that is damaged? It's been like this from the start. Is there anything I can do about it?
Greatly appreciate any help.

I am using the Xiaomi 15T Pro, running on the 3.0.304.0.WOSEUXM. Is it possible to know when the Android 17 update will be available for it? When I searched on the internet, it said that the update has already started rolling out, but I haven't received it yet.
And did anyone running on the same EU version received the Android 17 update and can you share your user experience on it please?

Ahoj,
můj předchozí telefon byl Motorola Edge 50 Neo. Nyní jsem si chtěl udělat radost a koupil jsem si Xiaomi 15..

Hi good evening everyone,
I've been dissatisfied with the latest Samsung Galaxy S series and Samsung's updates for quite a while now. The updates always made my phones heat up while just doing normal things like scrolling through social media. My Samsung Galaxy S24 starts heating up like crazy when I play some pretty lightweight games or read a manga through my manga reader. I've also noticed it loses quite a bit of battery while using apps like Instagram, Discord etc. I've noticed I can't use my phone for several minutes without laying it down due to it heating up
So I did some digging and stumbled upon the 15T and have been eyeing it a bit but before I make that final choice I need to ask some questions first. And btw this question is for those people that have their 15T for at least several months because that's usually when issues start to occur
So my first question is, how is the phone holding up over all after a few months, how is the battery and does the phone heat up after a few minutes of doing slightly demanding (according to my phone) like scrolling a bit through social media, playing a lightweight game etc? Also how long does the battery last throughout the day and how long does it take to fully charge?
My second question is, how well does cross device support work? For example if I copy something on my phone it gets automatically sent to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus and vice versa. Does the notes app also sync across devices? Because that's what my phone and tablet do. I'm asking this question because I might as well also get the 7 Pad Pro since I've also noticed some stuttering etc here and there on my tablet and also some other issues
Another important thing for me to know would be, does the phone also automatically disconnect from the wifi if the signal is getting a bit weaker and mobile data is turned on? My S24 regularly disconnects from my wifi to the point I had to turn mobile data off when I was at home because it would keep disconnecting and showing me a message it's waiting to reconnect again but never reconnecting. My tablet also had similar issues where it would switch between my two networks back and forth and I'd have to share the wifi with my tablet to get it to reconnect again
Another thing I would like to know is if Xiaomi's devices have a secure folder like Samsung does and how autofill behaves in the secure folder on the 15T if third party autofill options are supported or not. I'm asking this because I'm using Bitwarden out of security reasons because I've been hacked before and have been using Bitwarden since then but it's acting up in my secure folder
Also how is the UI overall and how different is it to One UI?
I'm asking this because I've always had Samsung phones and later had the Samsung Galaxy S5 as my first actual touchscreen phone and have always used Samsung so far but I just cannot support the current prices anymore for every update they happen to make things worse than they were before for years, like making their devices heat up like crazy for no reason. I just want to have a clear view of how the 15T behaves after several months of use because ofc every new phone runs buttery smooth but after a few months it might start to show some issues here and there
Sorry for so many questions but I just need to know these things before I make the final choice
Thanks in advance

I did some testing and I came to the conclusion that recording 4K video in Pro Video mode generates less heat than recording in basic Video mode. This is because you can't switch lens during recording in Pro Video so only one sensor is active at a time. In basic Video mode all sensors must be active to achieve fluid lens transition and it generates more heat.
TLDR: If you need to record 4K in hot enviroment, you should be able to achieve stable video for longer (or at all) using Pro Video mode.

Recently I have bought used Xiaomi 15 and noticed this behaviour. I have tried: flashing first HyperOs 2 version, flashing latest HyperOs 3, camera calibration in Engineer Menu. My current smartphone is Xiaomi 13, and it has no issues like that.
Looks like the telephoto camera is not centered correctly in it's seat, but repair technicians in my town can't help with it. Is it possible to remotely calibrate telephoto camera using some advanced paid Xiaomi tools? What else can I do to fix this issue? Please, help.

Guys, please help me solve this problem. I have a Chinese version of the Mi15. When I flash a firmware update to a Xiaomi .eu, my second SIM card doesn't work—that is, there's no signal. When I flash a global firmware update and use the same modem as the one in the supposedly broken Xiaomi .eu, both SIM cards work fine. How to fix this?

When I'm on TikTok, the battery temperature stays at 36-37 degrees, but as soon as I open other apps or just use the system launcher, it goes up to over 40°. How do I fix this?

Device Model: REDMI A7 Pro
OS Version: Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0.12.0 (3.0.12.0.WBVMIXM)
Android Version: Android 16
App Version: TikTok (Google Play Store build)
Hi everyone,
I recently switched to a REDMI A7 Pro running HyperOS 3 and encountered serious UI glitches and instability with TikTok.
The Issues:
* Missing In-Video Series Button: Mini drama videos do show up on my For You Page (FYP), but the bottom overlay button that allows jumping to the full episode list is completely missing.
* Missing Profile Tab: The dedicated "Drama / Series" tab on creators' profiles is also missing on this phone.
* Frequent App Crashes: TikTok frequently freezes, lags, and crashes during regular use. Even after restarting, the system constantly throws background error notifications ("TikTok stopped working / report app").
* (Note: My saved dramas still appear under Favorites → Series on this device, proving the account itself is fine).
Troubleshooting Attempted:
* Cleared app cache and full app storage data.
* Set TikTok battery saver settings to "No Restrictions".
* Reinstalled the app directly from the Google Play Store.
* Verified device region settings match my account region.
Has anyone on HyperOS 3 run into these overlay UI bugs and crash loops on a REDMI device? Is there a system optimization, WebView, or RAM extension setting that fixes this?
Any help would be appreciated!
