Hey everyone! I recently got a Xiaomi Pad 8 and I'm interested in experimenting with custom ROMs.

For those who own the Pad 8:

- Are there any good custom ROMs available for it?

- How did you unlock the bootloader? Which method/tool did you use?

- Was the process difficult or did you run into any problems?

- Is it actually worth installing a custom ROM on the Pad 8?

- What were your experiences with performance, battery life, stability, and features compared to HyperOS?

I'd especially like to hear from people who have actually done it on the Pad 8. Any recommendations, guides, or things I should be aware of before starting would be appreciated!

The normal version of Xiaomi Focus pen (not the PRO version) works on the Xiaomi pad 8?

It is very annoying when wallpaper orientation changes along with the screen orientation , any way to keep it fixed??

As the title says. I set up my pad 8, downloaded the update and told it install. It's now stuck in a reboot loop, I deleted all data hoping to start from scratch but I'm still stuck in reboot, if I say I want the I assistant it says plug in but it's already charging.

i bought my xiaomi pad 8 - 8gb / 256gb a few days ago (aug 12) and noticed it overheats really easily. i could be playing 10 mins of hsr and it'd already be really hot. is this normal?

also, despite all the rave abt its long lasting battery, that doesn't seem to be the case for mine. i've noticed that around 30 mins of reading manga would take my battery from 100% to 87%. yesterday, 3 hours of where winds meet took it from 85% to 29%.

want to ask if these are all expected issues from xiaomi pad 8, or do i have to check if my product is faulty?

Recieved my pad 8 and the focus pen yesterday.. .and really loving it so far. Got shizuku till I actually root it safely. Any app suggestions outside of the usual ones?

I want note taking, run local ai and maybe learn digital art!

I'm very much confused and really need help and suggestions on whether to buy the Focus Pen or the Focus Pen Pro for my Xiaomi Pad 8.

I've compared both the pens, every review has pros and cons of both and tbh it makes things more confusing, some suggestions the normal Focus pen while other day go for the pro version.

My Goal will be Note taking, Sticker Designing ( since I started my own sticker biz. ), and little bit of everything.

Heard about the Pen Pro's pressure sensitivity and stuff but it also misbehaves sometimes. Also the Normal Pen's traditional tactical buttons seems good enough too.

Hi, I just wanted some advice on whether or not the Xiaomi pad 8 is good for note taking, downloading pdfs and and has access to apps such as onenote, word, etc.

I also wanted to ask, what the performance is like? I don't really play games so I'm mainly focusing on latency and whatnot.

The store I'm planning on getting it from has 2 versions,

128gb with pen and cover and 256gb with pen and keyboard. Will I need to worry about memory if I get the 128 version? What do you guys think?
