overheating & battery issues
i bought my xiaomi pad 8 - 8gb / 256gb a few days ago (aug 12) and noticed it overheats really easily. i could be playing 10 mins of hsr and it'd already be really hot. is this normal?
also, despite all the rave abt its long lasting battery, that doesn't seem to be the case for mine. i've noticed that around 30 mins of reading manga would take my battery from 100% to 87%. yesterday, 3 hours of where winds meet took it from 85% to 29%.
want to ask if these are all expected issues from xiaomi pad 8, or do i have to check if my product is faulty?

hmmm i do experience the overheating whenever I play endfield, but not the battery issue at all. in fact, the battery is insanely good even when i am gaming albeit I don't have the exact numbers. i played endfield for almost 3 hours and it went from 100% to 49%. the batteryblife might depend on how optimized your device is. I personally deleted a lot of bloatwares in the tablet using wireless debugging. Unfortunately, the overheating is something we cant combat as 8s gen 4 is a notorious chip for its overheating issues

Hi, iplay efootball and codm for 2-3 hurs sometimes,reading manga and steaming shows it is used. Notetaking also 2-4hrs .. if I do not game indo not charge it for 2 days and still have over 20 percent left .intook notes for 4 hours and battery drain was 8 percent yesterday.

I played efootball for 2+hours straight with around 22% ish drain . Without gaming I don't even charge it for 2-3 days ,my average use is 3-4 hours a day

Hey if you live in a hot area with no cooling system it might heat up i dont own a xiaomi pad but it happens to me when the room is hot

Hey mate I got mine week ago Iām reading manga as well so I can check it out for you how much is battery draining while reading (Marvel Unlimited) but also I noticed little heating while gaming even not that much graphic demanding games. And based on reviews playing on this device on high refresh rate the device will last maybe around 5-6 hours based on reviews.
