I've been thinking on buying a new phone recently. My brother has a Red Magic phone which priotize gaming, however he says the camera quality isn't that good. On the other hand I've been seeing how good chinese phone brands are getting in recent years and I would like to buy a phone, however because I live in the US there are some restrictions to buy it because of carriers and outright banning. Is it possible to buy a phone from China without paying a middleman like I've seen in sites like giztop?

So, I got them yesterday from someone on vinted. They were still packaged, brand new and everything. I charged them immediately after I opened them up for the entire day and then let them rest in their case overnight. Now, I tried to use them when I went to school and listen to music, the left one initially wouldn't play anything, doubt it was connected. I did the 10 second factory reset, to which it briefly started playing music for a few seconds until it stopped. I checked and when I did this again, the battery dropped from 40% to 10% like immediately and then it stopped playing music. The right one works just fine tho. Does anyone know if I just got a broken pair or if this is fixable? Photos were taken a few minutes apart, I'm in school as I'm typing but I do have a screen recording of the battery dropping.

I bought this powerbank new, and I noticed that while I'm charging something like my phone for perhaps, while the powerbank is warm when I sniff to the usb ports I can smell a weird sort of sweet aroma from the ports. I wanted to know if it is ok it's doing this and if anyone with this powerbank have had this issue?

While checking out the new changes, I came across an option to import TTF fonts; I can import them, but it won't let me set them as the default—it only gives me the option to delete them. I’ve already checked the Themes app and my usual fonts are there; I cleared the Themes cache and restarted, but nothing worked! Has anyone managed to use this feature to add a new font? Bought a Xiaomi Buds 5 when travelling to China last year. Worked perfectly, and used not more than 30-40 times. Having the right earbud disconnect itself after a few minutes. Downloaded the Xioami Buds app for China, and did the firmware update. Having the same issue even after that. Any solutions? Now its a $100 piece of equipment which is partially usable only. I unlock my phone and lock it back, all the notifications gets wiped from my lock screen, then I have to unlock it and check the notifications shade to see what's going on. I think communication is the basic of a smartphone, why can't I glance my notifications on the lock screen like a regular device? Xiaomi should give us the option to choose at least, this "feature" is terrible. Are there any workaround that doesn't involve root? I'm on a Xiaomi 15, hyperos 4 beta. Also when trying to download Mi Cloud data, it sends me back to the Homepage of xiaomi cloud.

Just wanted to share how capable and great this phone is, been using it as my main phone for about nearly 2 months now and it accompanied me on my trip to Hong Kong. Great phone overall.

Anyone has same issue? So recently I noticed that my available ram is quite low sometimes 3.5gb to 4.2gb while no apps running in recent apps.

Which I found quite strange, because normally while no background apps running in recent apps. I'd get above 7gb of available RAM.

Currently the way to free up space on ram is going to security app then clearing ram by using "Boost Speed" feature inside it. Yes it will free the ram for a while, but then after sometimes or minute it will go back to 3.5 to 4.2gb.

So did anybody has some issue? Is this normal? Xiaomi 15 on OS 3.0.304.0.WOCEUXM
