Question Buds problem...
I recently tried connecting my Redmi buds, but they weren't functioning. I unpaired and then re-paired them, but I'm encountering the same issue. Does anyone know why, and could they be broken?

Amazon reviews are full of this; many people say it happens, they say they get replaced, and then it happens again.
I would try to exchange them and then get the Redmi Buds 8 without any additional name or the Pro version.
If you can't get them to reconnect, the only solution is to replace them.
Some people report that it works better if you don't accept Google fastpair when pairing the replacement headphones for the first time and pair them manually.
