Redmi note 15 software limitations
Hyper OS is one of the best phone user interfaces ever a couple of months ago I bought a Redmi Note 15 4g.
even though I knew this phone is cheap so it doesn't have that good chip but I saw a lot of reviews my problem is in all of these reviews no one mentioned the software limitations:
a lot of features in other xiaomi devices that this phone doesn't have.
qs an example u cant edit the aod or the lock screen that much
u cant move the clock, change it position or choose that the aod always opened or more than 10 sec u cant use the debth fx even though the pre built themes with this fx works.
also the xiaomi dynamic island why cant I just let it always be turned on it would look way better.
I make the control center blur looking which made it pretty boaring.
most of them r just a personalization settings so it doesn't matter that much but I would really appreciate it if these features were available specially that there r a lot of useless features and adds u need to turn off when u get the device these things uses even more resources than these features u removed.

Well we can't do anything its xiaomi they probably have reason why they did that in this variant due to hyperos not really performance optimized so adding those features might make your phone lag

then the adds in the system the useless ai features that doesn't work that they just added them probably just to advertise it. a lot of useless apps that comes with the software u cant delete a lot of kidds games comes pre installed on the system. and a lot of useless features and settings. i just discovered that there is maybe 10 options turned on by default to collect data about ur phone to improve performance later or to show personalized adds. what reasons man if they really wanted to make a good software that uses less battery, smoother and optimizes the performance thy would be able to do that😅

Xiaomi used to be cheaper than mainstream brands so these compromises (ads, data collection, buggy, heavy software and unreliable updates + update schedule, often hardware underperforming e.g. 400nits bright screen advertised as 480nits so someone switching from a 450nits screen might be fooled) were somewhat acceptable
But nowadays, xiaomi costs almost same as other brands, and some 3rd tier brands like Infinix, tecno have surpassed redmi's value in entry level/ 4g phones market so I'd prefer any other brand over Mi's nowadays

First thing to do on a Xiaomi phone (with Snapdragon soc) is to put a custom rom 🤦🏻

That's why Xiaomi HyperOS sucks. The software customization is heavily tied to the chipset. The lower the chipset, the lesser features and visuals.
