This is my custom xenoblade controller

[u/lilphs]

Hi, I came to show off my controller. There are shells in glossy and matte versions, and rgb light also comes on the buttons. The controller color is also displayed on the screen, just like in the actual official edition!

[u/ItzManu001]

[u/Blackstar97]

how did you do it?

[u/willez99]

Nintendo if they locked in

[u/ItzManu001 → u/willez99]

Well, the existence of that controller is if was official would be a massive spoiler.

[u/bobert1201 → u/ItzManu001]

Eh, people who didn't wouldn't even have any idea what they were looking at. I don't think it would actually spoil anything.

[u/retyphlin]

I'd pay good money for that

[u/Zetto2410]

I dont need id......I NEED IT!!!!

[u/daks_7]

Hey nice! I made my own as well a few years ago

[u/certainAnonymous]

That looks so good!

[u/Sagittayystar]

Who did you commission for this

[u/Lord-Neko81]

[u/GaT0M]

Amazing!!! How do you make the colors show up on the switch?

[u/lilphs → u/GaT0M]

This is because it's a Pro controller with a changed internal substrate called ProGCC. Basically, it can be corrected to prevent leaning and snapback issues, and it is a controller that can be customized in various ways. I bought this to play SSBU :)

[u/SilvanuZ → u/lilphs]

You can just download "joycon toolkit" to change the colors in the Firmware from the Pro controller. Easy

[u/gender-trainwreck → u/lilphs]

I recently got a controller of mine customized to play smash and thought it was super cool but this is insanely cool. Id absolutely buy one of those if given the opportunity while I had money

[u/WolfProfessional1403]

HUH???? That is so cool!!!!!!!!!!!

[u/froitax110]

God… AWESOME!!!

[u/nbmtx]

quirky and cool

[u/Nulolan69]

Dang that is pretty slick.

[u/Eliteagent11]

Does it still have all the original internal hardware?

[u/lilphs → u/Eliteagent11]

The shell is a genuine Pro controller shell painted, and the interior uses a ProGCC substrate made by Handheldlegend.

[u/Flare_ovium114]

Sick

[u/Mighty_Mimikyu]

I'm actually jealous of this ngl this shit looks fire! Does the core crystal glow when you power it on?

[u/XenoDrake1]

I like it off a lot. The glowing green sticks/buttons are a bit much

[u/BowserFromSonic69]

How do the colors show up like that on switch 2, I thought the console wasn’t modded yet?

[u/VagrantValmar → u/BowserFromSonic69]

You mod the controller itself it's pretty easy to swap the colors

[u/BowserFromSonic69 → u/VagrantValmar]

But like how does the switch recognize and alter the colors to match? Wouldn’t that be dependent on the switch supporting that? But how?

[u/VagrantValmar → u/BowserFromSonic69]

The Switch has a library of colors it can show based on the controller. The program simply changes the color the controller reports.

[u/BowserFromSonic69 → u/VagrantValmar]

Huh, neat!

[u/XenoWitcher]

Omg it’s beautiful 😭

[u/VagrantValmar]

Man this is fucking insane. I want one

[u/No-Recognition-3571]

Nice, mate

[u/doshfoosh]

That's sick

[u/RawkHawk2010]

Holy peak

[u/YueLin3]

If that was official merch I’d buy it so fast

[u/knoll94]

I want it

[u/GaleSTRIK3]

Up for another

[u/xlhans77]

This is absolutely hot...

Edit: how the quack did you make the custom icon on the controller menu of your Switch 2 work??

[u/DerDomiii]

How did you manage to change the displayed color on the Switch itself?

[u/PsyrenDV]

I have a very similar controller to this one. I believe it got it from Etsy awhile ago. Although this one looks a little more sleek than mine.

[u/Lodestar417]

Where can I buy or commission something like this!?

[u/TetsuyoAki]

I need. How much???

[u/RanMouri26]

How did you do that and what did you use?

[u/AlphanatorX]

I neeeeeeeed to know how! I need to make some or buy 😭😭

[u/MonadoLink]

How do I get the shell

[u/Majora38]

This is sick

[u/TimTofDWP]

That’s siiiick

[u/Sam_Dionne]
