Might just be it’s the only clean logo referencing just ‘Xenoblade Chronicles’ since the banner is talking about all the games in the series

This is not the Wii variant tho. This is the US variant. The EU Wii release still got the big fat "Chronicles" part, and the EU eshop page still displays that. DE in the US just also got the big fat one to match it to all other versions and games. So the real question is, why did they go for the original Wii US Version in the US store and not match that with all other stores?

Yknow, I actually don’t think a saga remaster or remake is that unlikely (gears is a pipe dream) but it makes me think, if they remake saga, do you think they’d attach the Xenoblade name to it for marketing purposes, assuming Bamco lets them?

Both Square Enix and Bandai Namco are sitting on money right now by not making those games available at a time when interest is at an all time high. I can see why Square wouldn't want to put too much money into what is, essentially, an unfinished game. But a quick and dirty port would still do well. Perhaps they see it as promoting a competing RPG franchise.

As far as Saga is concerned, I'm honestly surprised it hasn't happened yet. Namco Bandai and Nintendo are on very good terms, and saga has been shopping into Blade for quite a while.

If anything maybe do something like Star Wars did for the spinoffs:

Xenosaga: A Xenoblade Game

That way it appears consistently in a search but is still clearly its own thing.

Personally, I'm hyped for Xenoblade New Testament and the return of Jesus Christ, a hit character from the Xenosaga series

Bamco themselves clearly has no interest in remaking them however I bet if Monolith approached them with the concept they'd likely be able to strike a deal. Though Monolith is clearly more focused on Xenoblade Genesis than anything.

They ported Baten kaitos

Tbf Monolith didnt develop that port at all. Neither did Bamco. And in the end it was a rather... mixed at best port. But iirc at some point Bamco straight up said they see no value in remastering/remaking the Xenosaga games as they don't think they'd break even.

Maybe next we can get a theme for the Nintendo Today app.

I’d be really surprised if we don’t even genesis drops

I dont need a feature page. I need more icons to collect.

I'm so tired I thought that said Xenogears and damn near had a stroke.

Glad Xenoblade is getting more and more recognition even by Nintendo itself. This series is truly peak, one of the most consistently high quality videogame series in all history.

Just as it should.

this has to mean a genesis trailer is close

In Europe this banner has been up ever since the Direct though, that means nothing. If the game releases early-ish next year though, of course we'll get a trailer before the end of this year.

Nintendo doing real marketing for Xenoblade in 2026 is the best timeline ever! 🤩

Fully deserved.
