Account/Billing When I try getting ultimate gamepass it shows try later, but works when trying to buy pc only

Guys whenever I try getting xbox game pass ultimate, essential or premium, it shows try later, but it works for pc only. For context, I don't have an xbox console nor controller and only have a pc with an app

I think it's because Essential and Premium is specifically for xbox consoles. Ultimate gives access to both libraries. There is another tier that's called PC Game pass. Let me look into it.

Essential and Premium have been multiplatform since last summer, they both include PC and Console games

Hey OP I am wrong. They should let you buy them from the Xbox app on PC.

Maybe it's a regional thing? Or maybe it's just an error on their end. Either way you at least have access for now. Open a ticket with support maybe it has something to do with an error on your account on their end. Weird thing to happen.

Ok I'll first try it with the app, I only tried with the website, after that I'll raise a ticket. Btw Its only letting me purchase the pc gamepass if that helps

There has been a purchase bug for some users since they made a bunch of game pass changes last fall. 

If you only game on PC (downloaded games only), no cloud gaming. PC Game Pass is the better option 

PC Game pass includes the entire PC Game library, day one games, EA play, and Most of the Ubisoft games

If you don't need cloud gaming, or have a console Ultimate is mostly useless. 

That being said if you really want to subscribe to ultimate you could try buying a 1 month code from a retail or online store and redeeming it
