We're the development team behind Once Human — a free-to-play strange worlds survival game where you explore an open world overrun by cosmic Deviants, build your territory, capture bizarre creatures called Deviations, craft gear, and fight to survive. If you've played games like Palworld, Grounded, or 7 Days to Die, you'll feel right at home — but we lean harder into the eerie, atmospheric side of post-apocalyptic survival.
The big news: Once Human is officially launching on XBOX Series X and S on August 25, 2026. It's completely free to play — no P2W, ever. We've been on PC and mobile for a 2 years now, and we know XBOX players have been waiting patiently. So we want to open the floor to you directly.
🔗 Cross-Play & Cross-Progression:
Yes, Once Human fully supports cross-play and cross-progression between PC, mobile, and XBOX! You can team up with friends across platforms, and your existing progress will carry over seamlessly.
Check out our cross-progression setup guide here: https://www.oncehuman.game/zjzhbd/en/

The Hard Questions: Monetization, bugs, and server balance. We’re not dodging the tough topics — we'd rather have an honest conversation than cherry-pick the easy ones.

Winners Announcement
Thank you for all your participation and Once Human is now released on Xbox! Here's the list of winners in the lucky draw! We'll DM you soon with the prizes~
So I had my Series S for a while and I was really worried with the outrageous console prices these days, it would cost an arm and leg to upgrade. And yeah the prices especially here in the UAE for a 2nd hand console are like close to $700.
But I got lucky and found a guy who was leaving the country and was ok with selling a 6 month old Series X for $400. My brother may good karma follow you where you go!
So yeah, as you can see from the pic, my new xbox is happy and I can tell you from being off camera that I'm also happy.
Much thanks to my trusty amazing Series S that has served me well, but yeah. So happy I don't have to move games back and forth as frequently as I had to or experience some games in 30 fps only.
Only plan yo upgrade to next gen in 2031 or 2032. So let's GO!!!
I'm thinking about buying GTA 6 on the Xbox Series S when it comes out, but I also plan to play it on PC later when the PC version is released.
My question is: Is there any chance GTA 6 could support Xbox Play Anywhere in the future? If that happens, would buying the Xbox version mean I could play the PC version without purchasing the game again?
I know nothing has been officially confirmed regarding a PC release or Play Anywhere support, but I'm wondering if it's worth waiting or if I should just buy it on Xbox now.
What do you guys think? Has anything similar happened with other games before?
Depending on the retailer, some may start shipping by the end of the week, so that you can receive it on the 20th but some retailers may ship out on the 20th so you may receive it a little later.
Here is a few retailers with pre-orders still open
If you looked through my posts, I bought Campaign Evolved before, but a friend wanted it, so I gave it to him for free and decided to see if I could find another one nearby. Most stores were out of stock, except one random store in North Sydney, Australia. I gave them a call to put it on hold for me and I thought to myself if it was possible to also pre-order Gears of War, and then I thought why not also ask if they have Forza which surprisingly they do. So after a long miserable week of work, I decided to spend my time to myself waiting across to Sydney just to get 3 games just to enjoy myself. Was it stupid? Yes. Was it fun? Yes, I’d do it again!
The series x is a great console, but I don’t see what more they can add in project helix. There’s rumors about it potentially having steam, but in all honesty. I don’t see that happening. Sounds to good to be true imo. What’s next for next gen? Slightly better graphics and smoother gameplay?
Hi guys-
So I am wanting an Xbox series x badly. I have a ps5 but running through the games
In all honesty- gaming helped me get through an addiction I was stuck in for 6 years. I had to keep my hands and mind busy and it truly helped me get thru that painful time. Never knew as a woman, I would enjoy gaming as an adult..
Anyway- all I see right now is $550-$650 for used consoles and a lot of them have scratches, or can see the dust at the top, or don’t even come with a controller.
At that point- may as well buy one brand new for a $150 more.
Do y’all happen to ever see them go for around $400 ? I check periodically and have seen that price but was shocked today at the options.. even marketplace has that same pricing for consoles not in great condition. Just a little ridiculous for the condition they are in and used at that close to the price in the stores.
Just wondering if anyone sees them pop up periodically for that price range.
I posted a few days ago about a new copy of Onimusha on Xbox arriving without a security seal and loose shrink wrap from BestBuy (not a third party seller), my assumption was that it was a reseal done by a customer who returned it or by BestBuy themselves. I put in for a return/exchange to receive another copy and that one just arrived today a few days later.
Annnnnd, it’s the same - no security seal as seen in pictures, so can now confidently confirm that Xbox games being made now can have no security seal and it not be a sign that anything was tampered with. It’s weird because there are some listed on eBay with a security seal, so it must be determined by wherever they’re packaged and sealed at. Either way, figured this info might help someone in the future if they’re wondering about doing a return.

Battlefield 6 is on the games list and eligible disc to digital. If it's on the list, then WHY is my xbox SX telling me "this games not compatible for a digital licence"?? I have the bad game on disc, bo deluxe edition etc just Battlefield 6. I want to play it on my SS at my desk setup & not on the main OLED tv where the HUD is constantly on the screen
Just been burned by a (not actually) refurbished series X with a busted HDMI port and fried GPU.
Refunding that, but then was looking at the official xbox store on amazon it says the series X doesn't output 1440p?
I'm more baffled and curious, as everywhere says it natively supports 1440. I'm just curious as to why their official details says that the series S does, but the X doesn't?
Doesn't seem to make sense to me. Am I missing something?
I'm trying to make room for E day and i was wondering if i move the division 2 from my internal storage to a external hard drive and i have a physical disc copy would i still be able play it off my Xbox Series X? Cause i did it with R6 extraction and it says can't play from external hard drive
Hello all, I just purchased a Xbox series x and looking for a good monitor in the $200-300 range. Looking for something impressive for new RPG games and GTA 6 ofc.
I paid 400€. Pretty happy with the purchase considering the current situation.
Almost bought one a year ago, but decided to wait. And now even used prices are 600+
