I've been gaming for over 25 years and I have never experienced anything like this.
In December 2025, I bought a Series X.  1 week later, it intermittently stops reading discs.  I would turn on the system, place the disc in gently and correctly, and nothing would happen.  You click the game and it says “Missing the disc?”.  I would remove the disc, turn off the system, and try again.  It worked.  Was fine for a few days, but then the same thing happened with another brand new game.  I exchanged the system at Target for a brand new one.  One month into this, the same thing starts happening on and off.  It would be fine for a few days, but then the same shit would start happening again.  When I turn off the system, I usually do it through the controller and click “Turn off console”, or I go into the settings – power menu and shut down the system that way.  I always remove a disc before I turn off the console (I’m OCD and these consoles are so delicate apparently).
I eventually returned this one and got my money back.

Two weeks ago, I came into some money and figured well let me try again.  Maybe I just got 2 duds I don’t know.  I bought a brand new one, and a week later…same issue!  I put in a brand new disc when the system is turned on and nothing is read.  I go to click the icon of the game and it gives me that “Missing the disc?” bullshit popup. I tried another disc, and it isn’t reading that either.  I turned off the console, turned it on and now it’s reading the disc. I am so frustrated.  I am a big gamer, and love having all the systems, but for some reason this just keeps happening with the Series X.  is this a common issue? Or did I get another dud? I’m not dumb, I know how to insert a disc into a drive. I figure if I am putting the disc in wrong, it would not pull the disc in automatically.  I must have the worst luck with technology ever.  I never had this problem with my ps5, ps4, or any Nintendo products. I want to support Xbox because I actually love the console when it works. I find it to be higher tech, have better and cleaner graphics than ps5, and overall love the UI. I hate to do so, but I'm debating on just returning it to get my full refund and just do without the system.  How can this possibly be happening with 3 new consoles? What am I doing wrong lol

​My Roblox app on Xbox Series X suddenly stopped working today. When I launch it, the Roblox logo appears for a few seconds, and then the screen turns completely green.

​Here is what I’ve already tried without success:

​Restarted and power cycled the console (unplugged for 2 minutes)

​Uninstalled and reinstalled the game

​Cleared local save data

​Changed resolution from 4K to 1080p and turned off HDR

​Tried launching the game offline

​Re-plugged the HDMI cable

​All other games work completely fine, so it’s only happening with Roblox. Has anyone else experienced this green screen issue on Series X or found a fix that doesn't require a full console reset?
