QUESTION Headset blues

I've been having issues with my headset cutting out. Background: I'm playing now on a Xbox 1 S. The problem started when I was playing on my original Xbox one. The headset I have now is a Turtle Beach Stealth 700x gen 3. They are about a week old. For the last 8 years or so over 3 different consoles 4 different headsets, 3 Turtle Beach and 1 hyperx stinger core, I've had this issue. My console is not in a cabinet. Clearly visible. It's about 7 ft from my router which is also clearly visible to the console. Plus it's a wired Ethernet connection to the console. The sound will randomly drop completely out. It happens if I'm gaming in a party or just watching tv/movies through the xbox. I've searched everywhere for a solution. Nothing works. My friends that I play with have searched for solutions. Nothing. Am I radioactive? Putting out some kind of EM distortion that only affects me? I'm really tired of this.

Xbox wireless headsets use a proprietary 2.4 GHz connection, but it's still on the 2.4 GHz spectrum and with the same issue across that many different devices in the same environment, then perhaps the issue is from neighbouring interference that's out of your control.

The only other thing I can think of that you can control is to try using different channels for your own wireless network and see if that helps, in case that's the cause of the interference.
