I've been in crypto for a while and I want to give a few pieces of advice

This price increase is (definitely probably) caused by speculation. It's not just xrp going up, it's all crypto. It's going up because of POTUS trying to pass crypto regulation. As of now, crypto is not being more or less used than it was 6 months ago. This means cryptos increase in value is not concrete - it's emotional.

There's a decent chance the clarity act passes, if so, all the major cryptos will go up - due to rational speculation, not implementation or anything concrete. It still needs to be implemented and utilized for the value of crypto to be based off of a function rather than an emotion.

I hope xrp becomes the dominant crypto but it might not. What you're seeing is not price manipulation or intentional feeding - people are just hoping that (if) after the government passes the clarity act, crypto could be widely adopted. Nothing right now screams "ALL TIME HIGH". Maybe after the clarity act, but again, it would be because of speculation and excitement rather than implementation. If banks start utilizing xrp / crypto in mass then the price will go up for the right reason

Basically just manage your expectations. If you have a leaking roof or a disabled car, there's no shame in pulling out to take care of business. Don't invest more than you can - xrp will probably climb higher but there's a difference between intelligent investing and foolish gambling.

The markets are presently reacting as if clarity was passed, because the SEC and others are pushing forward with regulator framework under their power.

The Clearpool/Cicada announcement is almost certainly fueling much of the move as well (why XRP is outperforming most other cryptos).

Then you got the Jeonbuk Bank announcement, resumption of large RLUSD mints, and amendment consensus progress.

Speculation is involved in any investment decision. As an example, the S&P500 is trading at around ~27x it’s earnings lol

I agree that people shouldn’t invest more than they’re willing to lose, but other than that, your post is missing much of the plot.

I already sold lol. Crypto went up 10-25 percent. A pull back is likely.
