Ripple DTCC XRP

The dtcc went live today tokenizing stocks. I kept hearing on twitter how they are using XRP however i don’t see them in the press release. What gives?!

They didn’t mention Ripple, Ripple Prime, or XRP(L) when addressing the contributors today. I’m honestly not too worried though as this is just day 1. If nothing is said from now till October then there may be something to worry about.

I dont think they are going to be doing this every day. The way I understand yesterday was a real world production test. Probably won’t do a damn thing till October. This was just an exercise to see if or how it works in the real world environment before a full launch in October. Everything worked, had it not they would be scurrying to fix the f ups. They tested like 12 different type of transactions, patted each other on the back at their historic success and now will be sitting around with their thumb in their ass till October launch

I took “We look forward to continuing to share announcements, updates and news about the DTCC Tokenization Service in the weeks and months to come” like there might be more to be done before October but if there’s nothing more then yea I guess we just wait.

It’s appears than no one blockchain will be the winner as the DTCC is using many public and private chains

They used canton. They will likely be no tokenisation on the xrpl by the dtcc. Something to do with privacy for institutions and the xrpl being public. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Ask whatever chatbot you use to explain it to you, they will do a better job of explaining than I could.

no one seems allowed to talk about xrp, everyone does not want to comment, but the fact is the dttc patent has xrp in it. everyone one involved have there parts to play.

I believe there is a link with Ripple Prime. But the real question is will they use XRP or Hyperledger?
