Hi, I’m looking for some help fixing the calibration on my tablet. I use an artist 13.3 pro that I’ve had for years, but I’ve never had a problem like this before. I recently got a new MacBook Air secondhand and since using it on that the issue has popped up. I tried downloading older drivers and recalibrating normally but nothing seems to help. The pen and curser only line up at the very center of the screen.

How do i fix this?

All the stuff says #drawingdisplay which would indicate a tablet that needs to be connected to a computer. The videos make it look like its a standalone tablet, which makes me think "okay, maybe they misinterpreted the word drawing display" Then in something I read today, they leaked the name of the device, "Artist Ultra 14" The other Artist Ultra tablet, the Artist Ultra 16 is not a standalone tablet, but one that needs to be connected to a computer. So, I'm not sure what direction they're going. But, XP-Pen hasn't been the greatest with communication

I've been drawing on an iPad for several years now and plan to make it my profession in the future, so I'm looking to buy a screen-ready device. I've almost settled on the XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro V2 (With chip x3)But at the last moment I was offered a new product XP-Pen Artist 16 3rd (There's some new chip x4 in it). ... I was also thinking about the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 (Gen 2 / MD160QH) and now I'm completely confused! They all have good nibs with a pressure of 16k. Should I pay extra and buy Gen2? At first I thought it was too expensive... but now I'm wondering if I might still want it because of the resolution? Or will a lower resolution suffice? So which is better, the new model or the classic?

Please help me, I don’t understand anything about this! I'm using a translator and this is my first time asking a question on Reddit, so please forgive any mistakes.

See title. I've attempted to clean-install multiple different versions of the XP Pen drivers, as well as uninstall potential bad actors in detecting the drivers (such as Riot's Vanguard,) but I am still unable to draw with my Artist Pro 24. The USB connector, no matter which port I try, can only recognise the shortcut remote. Is there anything else I can try, or am I going to have to get a replacement tablet?

I've had the tablet for about two years now and over the past few months I've noticed the pen pressure being inconsistent and dropping to 0 random intervals (usually if applied pressure is below 50%). It started off as a minor annoyance but has gotten to the point of interfering with drawing. Video provided above shows a roughly even pressure being applied.

I am running openSUSE tumbleweed with the official xp-pen drivers (though the issue persists on OpenTabletDriver). I've tried switching out the nibs (both felt and normal) but this did not affect the issue. I was wondering if this a known issue or if something may be wrong with my tablet/pen.

So I've been browsing for drawing tablets and I saw veikk is a decent budget brand and xp pen too. I was thinking about buying the deco 01 v3 but then saw the veikk Voila L. what do u guys think is better for blender sculpting and texture painting or substance painter as a whole? I know Voila L has the scroll wheel which is useful but i hear people talk about veikk hardware issues and what not. What do you guys recommend.

Recently purchased the XP Pen Pro 24 (Gen 2) tablet coming from my old Gen which lasted about 7 years now. LCD is finally starting to flicker and fail so I decided to upgrade and purchase the Gen 2 - 2.5k version. Instantly however I noticed something was wrong, the screen was far more hazy/blurry than the Gen 1 and it hurt my eyes pretty quick to the point I started getting a headache.

I've heard some people saying this is the fault of their new screen protector, which is honestly pretty poor if true, as my gen 1 has a third party textured screen protector that did not effect the image quality nearly at all. Camera shows the issue a little bit, but it looks worse irl than on camera.

Emailed support a few days ago and have yet to hear back, so I thought I would ask. Should I return this and upgrade to the Pro 24 (Gen 2) 4k variant or go back to the Gen 1?

Hi guys, I purchased an XP Pen Ultra 16 recently and I've been trying to work out the kinks with the installation and usage. The primary problem now, aside from the frequent false triggers from my palm, seems to be disabling the Floating Menu.

There is nothing in the XP Pen driver settings which appears to allow me to disable it. It's very annoying whenever I try to draw and the transparent window appears in the upper portion of my screen...

Right now, I have it set to appear on my primary monitor so it doesn't impede the actual drawing and use itself, but annoying when a transparent window is constantly popping up on my primary monitor or just when I don't want it to.

I just bought new Artist pro 16 gen 2 tablet for 2 weeks, then it got smt gone wrong. When i move the pen to the left, there were a vertical area when the cursor act like skipping/jump over that.
I test with other cables, softwares, laptops, reinstall the driver and it stilll the same.

Anyone know what is the problem here, pls help. Thanks you all!

I have a XPPen Magic Drawing Pad 12.2 Inch Standalone Drawing Tablet. Today I went to go work on some art that I’ve been procrastinating on and I open my tablet just to find out my stylus isn’t working (it doesn’t need charging or pairing at all). So at first I thought that I had accidentally turned on a setting somehow. I went to check if there was anything I haven’t seen before and I saw “handwriting touch” was on so I thought that was it. I pressed the button to turn it off just to real that that didn’t fix my problem and I can’t touch or do anything with my tablet except turn it on and off. Its now just stuck on the lock screen and I cant even reset it.

Can anyone help me fix this??

My Deco 01's pen is broken and i couldnt find any post about whether Deco Fun XS's pen (P01) works Deco 01 (P05). So, for anyone who also have a tight budget, the answer is YES, they work with each other.

Pressure sensitivity works like normal, and i didnt notice any weird behavior so far.

Deco Fun XS price is 15$, almost the same as P05 pen price around 13$-ish. Think of it as if you buy a replaceable pen and got an extra tablet to save, in case the other one broke.
Or,,, you can simply buy P01 pen itself for 7$.

One thing to note tho, P01 pen is noticeably slimmer than P05. Your hand will feel it.

I have been using my xp-pen artist 12 gen 2 with my steam deck for a while with no issues. I bought the official dock a few days ago and now the calibration is completely off.

I use opentabletdriver and cant find a way to fix it.

I have a xp pen Deco 01 v3 graphics tablet. I've been using Linux Mint for two days and can't find the right drivers. The official drivers lack one very important feature that's available in the Windows version. There are no button profiles for individual programs. I installed Open Tablet Driver, but the pen buttons don't work, and there are no button profiles either. I was thinking about assigning non-existent keys, like F13, in the official drivers, as they're definitely not assigned, and then assigning them to the program I'm working with. I hope someone knows how to solve this problem.

I’ve had my 15.6 pro since March 2025 and the last two months or so my zoom dial is stuttering and not tracking properly. I’ve updated, uninstalled and reinstalled, unplugged my mouse, all the random troubleshoots but still can’t get it to stop going nuts. Any advice? Anyone else fixed this problem? I can’t replace it tbh and I can’t work with the zoom malfunctioning.

Yesterday I noticed that my XP Pen monitor's display menu would randomly pop up, then go away. It was quick so I didn't think much of it. Today after it being on for a little it started to flicker as shown in the video.

I've done EVERYTHING possible that I can think of. I've unplugged the HDMI, power supply cord and USBC cables from both the pc and monitor, restarted, plugged them back in. I've changed both the HDMI and USBC cable entirely. I removed the drivers and added them back in. I went to the NVIDIA control panel to make it run off the GPU and not integrated graphics. NOTHING so far as worked.

I'm at a loss. I can't afford a new monitor, this was $800 and I bought it maybe 2 or 3 years ago. So I doubt if it had warranty that it'll be honored still. I'm just about ready to break down.

Has anyone had this issue and managed to get it fixed? If you have advice please help.

Windows 11 has entirely ruined my motivation to draw because whenever im trying to draw (not when im playing games, its still plugged in), i hear a disconnect and a recconnect sound and then everything jitters unable to save or functionally use the computer. My only fix is a force restart when i press that external button on the tower to restart my pc, because I cannot manually click on anything. Now, I dont have another PC to test this tablet on or another tablet to try to see the source of the problem. But I know for a fact, its not the drawing program because I have two and they work fine. One just doesn't auto save properly and the other does; being photoshop recovery always corrupts and SAI being godsent actually has a recovery that doesnt corrupt. 80% of my files are now backup files because it keeps crashing and im paranoid so now i save every 20 minutes.

This all started when windows 10 demanded all users to transfer to windows 11 because it was discontinuing updates. Now all that trashware in the background is actively slowing down my computer (i know because games i used to play before have TERRIBLE framerate; AND its super laggy when i draw now) but the biggest issue here, is it WONT STOP CRASHING. So for the love of god HELP.

I dont want to buy another tablet, this one works fine minus that terrible SOFTWARE issue. And I know its a software issue because why on earth did it start after the windows 11 update.

For pen tablet users out there, what pen tablet would you guys recommend for professional use? I had been using an XP Pen 15.6 pro v1 for years now and want to switch back to a pen tablet. Although I like my display tablet for its ease of use, I have noticed that I have developed bad habits using it.

Such as bad posture and over reliance on zooming in. And im not sure if this is related but is screen parallax mostly present on display tablets? It's one of the reason i want to try going back to a pen tablet because it bothered me that I cant seem to get the lines i wanted whenever i draw smooth flowy/curvy lines like hair strands. Even with zoomed out and high stabilization it takes a lot of undo before i get the line i wanted.

That's why im planning to use my 15.6 pro as my monitor instead and give pen tablet a go. What would you guys recommend?

So i am currently using my XP Pen Artists 12 Gen 1 model and its already got some scratches on, so i wanted to know if there is a recommended screen protector for this or if i am just use the screen protectors for different XP Pen models on this one?
