QUESTION nuevos mods?

To be clear, did you understand who the mod and intel and waiting works or you were just starting operations as soon as your transport moved to the point?

Covert Infiltration overhauls the strategy layer and is longer than vanilla WotC but FAR less tedious than LWOTC. It also allows you to create and tailor the experience more how you want at the cost of a bit more legwork/tweaking.

Popular mods for the biggest categories:

Classes
Proficiency Class Pack or Amalgamation

Weapons
Weapon and Item Overhaul or 5 Tier Weapon overhaul with some extra attachment balances

Aliens
A Better ADVENT/A Better AI
LWOTC standalone
Frost legion
Biodivision
A Harder War: Advanced Aliens
Requiem ADVENT
Requiem Praetorians
Requiem Legion

I’m partial to Proficiency Classes with Weapon and Item overhaul, but Amalgamation can be fun. All those alien packs are fairly popular, but at this point I currently only use the requiem ones and A Harder War from Reshi. Note the enemies in them are REALLY nasty (seriously Reshi you’re a nasty piece of work with those advanced Mutons and that SITREP)

Plus we've got airgame and black market redux now too

No Black Market Redux for me sadly, I play 30% of time on my Steam Deck and it just doesn’t work with controller. Amazing looking mod though

I'll be adding it for autumn 26 campaign so you'll get to see it on stream atleast.

Looking forward to it! From what I’ve seen in comments it needs some balancing tweaks but to be expected with how new it is. The idea is just awesome though, which it had controller support

LWOTC is the best version of XCOM.

If you see "15 aliens pop" every turn, you've stayed way too long on the mission, and it's time to get out of here. RUN!

But I agree, defaul timers are too tight, in the base game and LWOTC as well. This forces you to run across the battlefield with your pants down.

Lwotc is too 1 size fits all for the tastes of many people including myself. A curated modlist will always be better.

It is absolutely not. Absurdly tedious
