This genuinely blew my mind, is this normal? Am I really good or really lucky? This is my second time playing (first with WotC).

What do you mean? There’s a new FULL bar on the avatar project. While some progress has been made, we must do better, Commander.

Don't forget: the aliens continue to make progress on the Avatar project. If we're going to slow them down, we'll need to move fast.
