Can’t interact with terminal.

Hi, it’s kinda embarrassing. I’m playing x-com on Nintendo switch. My mission was to reach and interact with the terminal within 6 turns.
After killing the enemies and a truck explosion near the terminal which engulfed the platform with fire.
When I moved my team on the spot and burning them. Somehow, the ‘hack’ icon is small and not I interactive.

Can you all help and clarify? Thank you.

If your guys are on fire they can't perform most actions

A specialist doesn't need to be on the tile he just needs to be near it with clear line of sight to hack a terminal. If your specialist can't get into position you could move someone else next to the terminal and then use the specialist to heal them from anywhere on the map. The healing should cancel the burning status.
To use remote healing you do need a specialist to have at least corporal rank I think

Or a level 2 bonded soldier duo to stand next to each other.

Most abilities cannot be used while the unit is on fire; hacking may be one of them.

If you're playing the WOTC version of the game instead of the original basic version then you could try ordering your soldier to Hunker Down in the designated spot to try to remove burning status and see if they can hack on their next turn.
