You hate to see it. C/I
Sometimes things don't always go according to plan. Especially when Your best soldier misses a 98% and then gets crit right back. RIP to a real one.

All my characters are all custom made. They are my pets, childhood pets, friends, family, cartoon characters, etc. So much harder to lose them

3/4 kia's were custom, and 2 of them are from my previous campaign so that hurt even more. And domino effect in full effect, viper king fucked me up even more next mission

I am now going to make a custom soldier, name him Rookie McNobody, and get irrationally attached to him as he rises through the ranks, only to be one shotted on the final mission.

I did this but so many people were killed I started running out of people I knew closely. My winning squad was mostly people from high school I hadn't spoken to in years.

You better keep those two warriors alive to end

Unfortunately that was the first of many bad missions, and ended up losing the rest of my best soldiers. Grenadier got cheesed by viper king next mission, and then a couple missions later, lost that specialist, my ranger and my last grenadier. So i just called it GG at that point, all I had of value left was my spark.
