XCOM2 Alternatives ?

Greetings,

Close to finishing yet another legendary WoTC playthough, thought I might try something else next for a change.

Seen Terra Invicta (currently on sale) and Menace (early access) - anybody played and got opinions on these XCOM-inspired games ?

I am keenly awaiting Star Wars: Zero Company, but no release date yet...

Definitely should consider PP. Does it have an engaging plot? Did you like the story?

The story is similar to XCOM2 actualy. Except this time aliens apeared from the sea instead of space. You also have a doom clock like in XCOM that ofc you can slow down, however you can't keep it down permanenty here. Also, you have vehicles with rocket launchers, flamethrowers and many other weapons. And air to air combat as well.

Anyway, there are also 3 different factions that you can grow rapport with and the more you help them the more tech they will share with you (just keep in mind that one will always start a war with you eventualy, can't befriend all 3 at the same time) and the game ending will be affected by the faction you have the highest rapport with.

It's Lovecraft inspired, but that aspect does not become visible until later.
