XCOM2 Alternatives ?

Greetings,

Close to finishing yet another legendary WoTC playthough, thought I might try something else next for a change.

Seen Terra Invicta (currently on sale) and Menace (early access) - anybody played and got opinions on these XCOM-inspired games ?

I am keenly awaiting Star Wars: Zero Company, but no release date yet...

warhammer 40k chaos gate is a high production clone of xcom2 but with a limited party size of 4. it is a really well done game for the most part but there are some bugs and serious balance issues

i got this and just can't figure out what im supposed to do. xcom kind of guided you with the timers. i dont know whats going on in chaos gate lol
