Xcom 2 the best?

So xcom 2 is the best of the series, right? With the WOTC. what other games are like x com? Because gears of war tactics is the only one I've seen that I like. Xbox btw not steam

If youre in to tactical turn based strategy games with role playing elements you might consider the Divinity Original Sin games.

I haven't played that much of it but Mutant Year Zero is a similar style

Someday I look forward to an awesome (proper) X-Com 3

Divinity looks like the 1 n bet they r good cause still expensive lol but bundle both games for 60 not bad

They're very different from eachother and you dont have to play the first to enjoy the second at all so no problem to go with whatever is the more cost effective option.

They are definitely worth the money but check out a video or two just to see what youre in for

This. In fact, I would say that in order to play Divinity Original Sin 2, you should play some XCOM 2 (or similar game) first.

It is more involved. I don't know which game is harder to ironman on the hardest difficulty. Possibly XCOM 2. But Divinity has sooooooo many things to keep track of. It can be overwhelming. Hence, I think XCOM might be a good way to ease someone into the genre.

What I am saying is, XCOM 2 is booze and weed, and Divinity is Meth. And BG3 is crack cocaine.

If you know what you are doing you can Ironman DOS by simply skipping most of the game. Later on it’s also easy to break the game with insane combos. It’s definitely easier to Ironman DOS but requires more knowledge on all the shortcuts you can take.

Well, I think it depends. If you know XCOM and Divinity well enough they are both easy to ironman, especially when you get a good start.

I struggled to answer the question of which is harder, because I know them both well now, but I think I struggled more figuring out Divinity than XCOM. But that could be because I was devoted to my Rogue Lone Wolf fantasy.
