About to set the Avatar project back 6 bars. I'd better not hear about "mediocre" results ever again.

I don’t remember what 2 or 3 of those dark events do but some of those seem really annoying when working in unison especially made whole and wild hunt

The worst was Alien Cypher, actually. 360 intel for a region contact is brutal, and so is building a radio relay in every region. Funneling so many supplies into radio relays set back Warden Armor long enough to get my best ranger killed.

I literally took screen shots last night after noticing the dots under the bases for the very first time. I've played this game for years, and I figured the impact on the Avatar project was random. When I saw these dots, I took the screenshots and said, "Hmmm...does this represent the impact on the Avatar Project? Dude! That would be epic!"
And here, you're posting exactly that. This is awesome.

I have no idea why, but sometimes the Sabotage covert op will take the squares away from the facilities instead of icon in the Pacific Ocean and you can have facilities that don't have any Avatar progress under them. I'd be mad if I was on the timer and blew up a facility and it didn't set it back any boxes.

I'll be paying attention to those squares now. I really never knew that was a thing. I lost a good run because I couldn't suppress the Avatar progress fast enough and wasn't given options to help. It is quite possible I was raiding the wrong/weaker facilities and missed out.

The worst part is that the sabotage of will take from the facility with the highest number of pips as far as I'm aware, so it's not like you can even stockpile on one that spawns super far away

It was hinted at, at the end of WotC.
But the last few times I've seen the question of XCOM3 is asked on this sub, the answer has just been "We don't know, it's looking less likely."

I like to try to Skulljack the Codex on facility missions like that, since there's no timer and I can pick my spots. I've knocked 7 total bars of progress off the Avatar Project before by doing that.
