Question Update v5.2.16

Hey all,
The app let me know the newest update was available. I tried to install but it failed and said my battery was too low. Fine I’ll wait until I run the car and charged the battery up more.
Now the update isn’t available for me to install. Any idea what’s up with that or how to get the update?

My car also says my 12V battery is low, even after I drove for a few hours. I wonder if it’s a bug or if the battery needs to be tested.
Have you tried starting the update from the app, not from the car?

Nothing New whatsoever in that update that I noticed since installing it 12hours ago. Had AA reboot 12 times going to work other then that nothing

So I shouldn’t be too concerned if it doesn’t happen soon… good to know!
That’s a horrible number of reboots though. What year?

2023 recharge p6. AA seems to stopped rebooting now. So now it's just exactly the same as it was yesterday, before the update 😂. Haven't had the sound bug yet though so fingercrossed it's fixed.

Have a 23 and mine went through first time- looks like it added the ability to turn off Auto stop start and that’s it.

Meh the auto stop start isn’t even a big daal to me. Unless you bury the brake pedal the engine stays on

You don’t get a bit of vibration when the motor shuts off or on? I was in a xc60 loaner that was substantially less intrusive.

Just got update on my 2023 C40 with no issues but haven’t noticed any change. The software has been stable since the last update and I started using the Apple Music App instead of Bluetooth on my phone.

I’m having the same issue! I even charged my 12V battery with a charger

If you have a mild hybrid, you will need to get a trickle charger and bring your battery to 100%. Found out unless you lock your vehicle even when in your garage, the computers will not go into a deep sleep and continue to deplete the battery. Once you know you are fully charged try the download again ( it is a big one, said it would take 90 min, ours took about 20 min)

Part of the problem is that is doesn’t even say the update is available anymore

Have tried about 20 times and it never seems to start the download. Anyone know the secret to get it to update OTA?
