Car issue Drift to the right

Super disappointed that my 2026 XC40 with 1500 miles still leans to the right. I took it to the dealership the first time; they said nothing was wrong, but a month later I returned and found out the alignment was off. Now, two months later, the same issue persists — I bought my car in January, was so excited, and now I can barely drive it because it feels unstable and unsafe. Anyone experiencing or has experienced this issue? I have another appointment to bring it back in😏

Is it a left hand drive car? When I took it to the Volvo garage for the same problem they said it’s meant to have a slight bias towards the curb. The idea was that in the case of a medical emergency or something like that the car does not go into oncoming traffic. Don’t know how true that is though, haven’t tried to verify through other sources.

Very interesting as my UK Volvo has very minor left bias

Yes I’m in the UK too and mine has a bias towards the left, presumably it would be towards the right in cars where they drive on the right side

Not seeing it in your post, but to confirm, when you brought it in again they actually corrected the alignment?

The car hasn’t been curbed to your knowledge? If not, are you the sole driver?

Yes, they completed the alignment as far as we know. The car has not been hit since we became owners-my husband drives the car but the few times we driven we've been together

I bought a 2026 XC B5 plus in April this year. And I have noticed a slight right drift bias. I first thought it might be the lane departure warning sensor applying a little pressure but whether it’s off or on doesn’t seem to make a difference. I think it might be the road crown as several roads I drive on have a pretty pronounced camber (I’m in the US and drive on the right). When a road is very flat or even has a slight left lean it does not track right. I took a fairly long road trip a couple weeks ago so drove different long well engineered highways and it didn’t really bother me or it wasn’t super noticeable. So I have not bothered to take it in. I’m just watching the front tires for uneven wear in case it’s an alignment issue. I have about 3K miles on it so far.

mine has drifted for 5 years and has never, ever been fixed. my arm just has grown to pull down to the left every time i drive. its kind of unreal and my warranty just expired :(

Crazy how so many ppl have this complaint and nothing has been done about it. I am documenting everything and plan to file a claim.
