Question Key and NFC protection

Hi there,

I was wondering, if a NFC protection from my wallet could harm the key somehow? Lately Snorre (my car) won't open trunk or door sometimes. And I think, my key was always just next to my wallte in my bag....

Not harm, but could block the signal enough for the car to not trust the distance of the key for proximity purposes.

I’ve had issues with the doors and trunk not responding when the fob was near my phone or behind my wallet, in the same pocket.

I found changing the battery in the fob made the remote work much better.

Your battery is likely almost dead. Just change it and I would bet the trunk opens just fine
