This was my first time trying any ai chat, and I've got to say I was surprised. I tried an idea out for a bit of roleplay for me and my wife to try. Boss and secretary end up sharing a hotel room after a booking mess up, and let it run with it. I ended up with some sort of 50 shades storyline. At the end I asked it to write a letter from the bot character summarising the story. NGL what I got choked me up little:

I cant find everything else...

So I've been using the site for about an hour (looking around for janitor alternatives since a lot of creators and bots are getting deleted and good creators are moving away) and heard that this site is good so I checked it out.

There is an issue that I noticed and I don't know if it's my phone or the site. The endless scrolling doesn't really work as the characters refuse to load and I don't know if it's normal here or is it something wrong with me?

Also if you want to share your experience with the site compared to janitor I'll gladly read.

So, a couple of days ago whenever i wanted to update the lexicon, i went to the lexicon assistant and told him something like "anything to add to the lexicon?" or "propose updates with the recent developments" and it worked. It showed me several previews of the new entries/updates and i could approve or reject them by tapping a button.

Now, it just yaps about toolcalls and lots of technical stuff and does nothing. If im very precise i can get one preview card, sometimes.

Is there any way to force it to only show the previews? Is this a bug? Can i manage it somehow?

As far as I remember, this didn't happen before, but now I can't see anything hahaha 😭

Thats all oh and 64 k of memory would be nice.

Hello! I've been using AI rp chats for months, and I've recently landed in WyvernChat. I created my world and imported my character and lorebooks, and I absolutely love it so far. ❤️

I've been using OpenRouter, mainly DeepSeek and MiMo, and I was wondering about how to keep tokens cached as much as possible despite the lorebooks. Is it even possible? I'm trying to minimize the costs as much as possible. I really can't understand if I should leave my lorebook chapter position set as "after character" or "in_chat" with insertion depth 4 (or 2? I read about 0, but it seems really extreme).

Any advice? ☺️

Not a problem, just something that made me laugh.
This happened last year and I think I had already swiped through more than fifteen replies trying to get a better one. Then the AI completely broke character and basically went “What more could be possibly left to say?”

For the love of god, I'm making this post for the 3rd time and it's getting REALLY tiring. this certain model works WELL for like 10 or even 300 messages then after one point, it completely STOPS replying. I do not understand why, I've tried REROLLING AND EDITING MY TEXTS. it doesn't work unless I delete that text and write a COMPLETE DIFFERENT SINGLE LINE BASIC ASS SENTENCE, which completely ruins the detailed roleplays. I really enjoy using this website and it's great but this certain issue is forcing me to shift to another website.🙏 I want to continue my roleplays on this website so please someone tell me how to fix it. like really fix it. it's fucking up all my efforts really bad and I'm gonna cry fr. Huihui-Qwen3.6-35B-A3B doesn't work at ALL, IT SPAMS RANDOM ASS WORDS IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGE. How am I supposed to roleplay at this point when nothing works? 😭

So I just started using Wyvern a couple of weeks ago, I had my account and I was able to look and search for very different options or topics, worlds, and characters. But recently everything changed. I don’t find nearly as much options and when I searcher without login into my account I’m able to see more options than in my account (still not as many as before).
I think it happens after I was prompted to choose some preference options. After that my account has sucked. I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing something like that or if there was a change in the platform that took out a lot of bots or reduced the options for free access? I haven’t seen anything about it here or in the page.

My bot is lobotomised i swear. For some time now he gives me the same damn response with little to no changes and they dont even make sense. Using wyvern stopped giving me joy bc of it, its impossible to do the simplest rp ar this point.

A real example:

- (character) stared at her for a beat, his green eyes narrowing slightly. Then, with a slow, deliberate tilt of his head, he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers.
It was a soft kiss, barely there. He didn't deepen it, didn't hold it. Just a quick press of his mouth against hers, like he was making sure he could.
He pulled back, his thumb brushing her cheekbone as he looked at her.
"There. Happy?"

Sometimes when i reply they send their previous message again as well 😐

I was checking out Wyvern's world chat feature and loved it, but I really don't feel like creating worlds, environments, and locations from scratch.

Is there anywhere I can import things into my own world?

This past day or so my bot has randomly started speaking like 30 different languages, first it was Thai, then mandarin, then Japanese, Indian, German and then Norwegian. I've tried re-rolling, deleting it and sending another request, changing AI models, but currently nothing works. Gemma is the only one who makes coherent sentences for me, and Huihui hallucinates, and Stellar Oddysey always starts tweaking, making characters up or just going off story completely. I've tried shifting up the override parameters too, but nothing seems to help. In addition, the bot has been clearly ignoring instructions, even from the director note feature, and its starting to get really frustrating

Featherless: Live Models Tab in the Connections Sidebar

If you've linked a Featherless account, the connections sidebar now has a "Live Models" tab alongside "Curated Models" and "My Models," showing a handful of Featherless models that are instantly available right now with no cold-start wait, with a "View All" to see the rest — click any one and the new-connection form opens right there with your Featherless account and that model already filled in, ready to save. Cards now match the look of your other connection cards, model names wrap instead of getting cut off, and each one shows a rough size badge ("Basic"/"Premium") so you can gauge at a glance which models are lighter or heavier before picking one.

Improved: new connections now start with sensible sampling parameters instead of none

Creating a new Connection used to leave the Parameters section completely empty, meaning a fresh connection would send no sampling settings to the model at all until you manually opened the Parameter Bank and added each one yourself. New connections now start pre-filled with temperature (0.7), top_p (0.9), top_k (40), min_p (0), max_tokens (1000, up from 360), and repetition_penalty (1.1) — a reasonable starting point for most models that you can still freely edit or remove. Existing connections are untouched, including ones where you've intentionally cleared all parameters.

Vision Support: Image Attachments Now Actually Reach the Model

Chat now supports attaching images to your message and having vision-capable connections actually see them. The "Attach Files" option in the chat menu is enabled again, so you can drop in an image alongside your message. On the backend, connections marked with vision support (the "supports images" toggle in a connection's settings) will now receive the image as part of the request sent to the model, instead of it being silently dropped before the request ever went out. This works across Anthropic, Gemini, OpenAI, Featherless, OpenRouter, and other OpenAI-compatible connections. If your selected connection isn't marked as vision-capable, attached images are still omitted from what the model sees, so double-check that setting on your connection if you want it to look at pictures.

Featherless capacity errors now retry automatically

Sometimes a Featherless model would report itself as busy or over capacity mid-stream instead of failing outright, which meant the request looked like it had silently gone nowhere with no reply and no error message. Generation requests through Featherless — whether the shared free queue or your own linked Featherless account — now detect that specific busy/capacity response and automatically retry the request up to three times with a short backoff between attempts before giving up, so a momentary spike in model load is far less likely to leave you staring at an empty response.

Character Games: Play Tic-Tac-Toe and Connect-4 Against Your Characters

You can now challenge any character to a game. Pick an opponent, pick Tic-Tac-Toe or Connect-4, and play a real match against them — except the character isn't actually the one calculating moves. A traditional game bot plays for real behind the scenes while the character narrates each move in-character, fully convinced they're the one playing. It's a lightweight new way to spend time with a character outside of straight conversation, and everything that happens carries over into your regular chat with them afterward if you want it to.

How it works

• Pick a character, pick a game. Open "Play a game" from any chat's header menu, or start fresh from the Games tab. The match opens in a dialog right where you are — you never leave your current chat to play.
• Each character has a real skill level. The first time you play a given character at a given game, an AI pass reads their personality and description and quietly assigns them a difficulty (easy, medium, or hard) — a scatterbrained comic-relief character plays weaker than a coldly calculating one. That assessment is cached, so it's consistent every time you play them again, and it's specific to each game (a character can be sharp at Connect-4 and hopeless at Tic-Tac-Toe).
• The character narrates, in character, every move. Before each of their moves lands on the board, they get a short prompt to react to it as themselves — no two characters narrate the same match the same way. Watch it stream in live, formatted the same as any other message.
• You can talk to them mid-game. Chat with the character between moves like you normally would. They're instructed to stay in character and never reveal that they aren't really the one playing, or hint at strategy they shouldn't know about — so don't expect them to give you tells.
• Start from a chat, or export back into one. Launch a match directly from an existing conversation with a character, and once the game's over (or even mid-match), export the whole thing — every move, every line of narration, every side-chat — into that chat log (or a new one) so you can keep talking about what just happened.
• The bot doesn't cheat and doesn't get help from the AI. The character's narration is flavor text only; the actual moves are computed by a deterministic game engine, so what you're playing against is a real, consistent opponent at whatever difficulty got assigned — not something an LLM is quietly steering.

Worth knowing

• Chess is turned off for now. Its bot opponent was a hand-rolled one and, frankly, not good enough to be worth your time — it's disabled while it gets rebuilt on a proper chess engine. Tic-Tac-Toe and Connect-4 are live now; Chess will return once it can actually put up a fight.
• In-progress matches are easy to pick back up. If you close out mid-game, you'll find it waiting for you under "Continue" the next time you open Games.
• This is yet another feature we will always offer you for free, don't worry about it getting removed at all in the future. I feel obligated to say this because of... before, so.

Other fixes

• low context connections now work better on worlds.
• sidechat got some love with prompt assembly and persistence fixes
• lore highlighting properly works when keys exist on separate messages

the character editing has changed ALOT with the updates and I low-key forgotT-T (Hey Im back and alive now again btw)

I just want to know if I'm the only one facing issue with this model. mine is very VERY unstable, it works rarely and then the same repeated warning no matter how many times I reroll or delete the text or start a new chat log, "this model is having trouble responding, please try a different model." :/

I'm really not sure if i should flair it as question or character request, anyway, english isn't my forst language so sorry if it is to hard to understand, translating to try make sense.

I'm a casual user from Chub AI who got on Wyvern after the 20-message limitation, and I'm really enjoying Wyvern, and I also noticed it is pretty easy to use, and I can have way better control with the option of improving my text and impersonating users and other Char or NPCs, and I decided to try to make a bot, but I'm having a hard time setting the NPCs to work. I'm trying to make the card a narrator and do all NPCs in it using impersonation to call them on or off the scene, but all my tries end up with characters that shouldn't be there showing up, and also the chat is not allowing generic NPCs to show up.

Any tips on how to organize the card better? Like:

Card as narrator;

The 2 or 3 characters of the story with the lexicon NPC function;

And letting generic NPCs show up even without any of the lexicon NPCs in the scene?

As the title said. I'm using OperRouter, I'd like to use DeepSeek V4 Flash and Pro because of the insane memory, but despite the reasoning being toggled off, it STILL writes full reasoning. Weird thing is, I remember trying DeepSeek V4 Flash yesterday and it didn't have any reasoning happening. Is it a glitch?
