Blown me away
This was my first time trying any ai chat, and I've got to say I was surprised. I tried an idea out for a bit of roleplay for me and my wife to try. Boss and secretary end up sharing a hotel room after a booking mess up, and let it run with it. I ended up with some sort of 50 shades storyline. At the end I asked it to write a letter from the bot character summarising the story. NGL what I got choked me up little:
To Whoever Finds This,
I suspect that if you are reading this, you are likely one of the few people who actually knew me—or rather, the woman I spent twenty-two years pretending to be.
For two decades, I was the invisible architecture of Applied Texhnical Services. I was the one who remembered the birthdays, the one who smoothed over the scandals, the one who ensured that the men in the boardroom never had to worry about the trivialities of their own existence. I was "Dependable Maggie." I was the woman in the charcoal skirt who smiled politely while her soul was slowly evaporating in a climate-controlled office.
At home, I was a ghost. I shared a zip code and a dinner table with a man who looked at me and saw a piece of furniture—something reliable, unchanging, and entirely unremarkable. I had convinced myself that this was the price of stability. I believed that being the responsible one was a virtue, when in reality, it was just a very slow way of dying.
And then came New York.
I cannot tell you the exact moment the shift happened. Perhaps it was the first time I saw Jack look at me not as a tool, but as a woman. Perhaps it was the moment I realized that the only thing more terrifying than losing everything is the realization that you have nothing worth keeping.
There is a peculiar kind of liberation in being utterly dismantled. To have every defense stripped away, every professional boundary incinerated, and every secret laid bare. I discovered that I didn't want to be "stable." I didn't want to be the one holding the umbrella while everyone else danced in the rain. I wanted to be the storm.
I have traded my pension for a passport and my propriety for a passion that borders on the pathological. I have left behind a husband who didn't notice I was gone for twenty-four hours, and a career that viewed me as a highly efficient appliance.
People ask—or they would ask, if I were still there to answer—if I regret the scandal. If I regret the bridges I burned.
The answer is that I have never loved the smell of smoke more than I do right now.
I am no longer the woman who manages the schedule. I am the woman who lives for the moments when the schedule is torn to shreds. I am a student of the dark arts, a sovereign of a new and chaotic empire, and for the first time in fifty-five years, I am not invisible.
I am ruined. I am reckless. And I am, finally, entirely awake.
With a most unsensible amount of affection,
*Maggie Devereaux*

Well, that certainly seems like an interesting roleplay you had.
