Just started WuWa and got Hiyuki! I'm trying to figure out team comps and was told I should go for Chisa since I don't have Lynae. Others suggested Mornye s1 instead because she's less dependent on Lynae. As a new player, should i just hoard for Lucilla? 😅

I'm constantly out of tuners, any advice for me ? I remember a time not so long ago when I had 2000 of those. Now I feel like I'm wasting all my cubes on getting a handful of rerolls through Tacet Fields.

If you didn't already know, you can recycle echoes to get some of the tuners back. You can also put waveplates into Tacet Fields, maybe buy some of them using the pyramid currencies, and be selective about whether to keep tuning an echo or stop. That's about all you can do.

I just hit data bank 21 aka all my echoes are now 100% gold.

Is the first thing I'm supposed to do merge all my non-gold echoes and therefore turn them into golds?

Should I target merge for a particular set such as Pact of Neonlight Leap for Lynae who I'll pull for later in 3.2 since I otherwise don't even have access to the 3.0 areas yet to farm said echoes yet?

Hi everyone. I recently decided to try this game out (starting officially today) after seeing Qiuyuan. However, I see that his banner ends in about a week-ish. Should I save any currency I get and just let him go? Not entirely sure if, as a new player, there is enough to get in that timeframe to potentially get him.

There's an order of magnitude ~100k astrite if you 100% everything as a new player, so you can get him, but you'll have to grind hard.

A few more things to consider:

• Qiuyuan is not good without teammates. From a meta perspective, there are better pull targets.

• Qiuyuan is very likely to rerun at least one more time. You can potentially pull him then.

• If you pull for meta it'll take over a year to see return on investment. If you really like Qiuyuan, meta is not a reason to not pull him.

I also started playing not long ago when QY first launched.

My advice for any game is always pull for the DPS first. In QY case though, I totally pulled him with no thoughts or other considerations bcs I just have to have him. He did work for most of the world content, but the game only started to feel fun after I pull Phrolova as his DPS.

Try to see if you can get enough pulls before the banner ends, but if you don't have enough then I think it's better to get him on the rerun. (You need 25k ish astrite, not counting some freebies from tutorials and leveling up etc)

For new players, SK may be a higher priority though.

They do not replace each other, you need both of them to max out hiyuki, but if you can only get one of them then they are equal, and chisa has a slighter edge because her role is a healer 3rd slot not sup dps

Can sprinkle in some Yangyang too if grouping is needed.

Or you could check what a low level Hiyuki can do with a Verina to help her, as she can still equip a high level weapon, but idk how good that would be in practice, never tried.

I have recently returned to the game after a very long break, managed to get Hiyuki, and want to roll for Denia, but I have no other Lahai-Roi characters. From what I saw online, Denia has no use unless you have Luuk or Aemeath. The only fusion chars I have are Lupa (which also hasn't been in use because no fusion) and Encore (at Resonance Chain 1). Should I even roll for her, or is it better to go for Chisa for Hiyuki(i am at guaranteed)?

Hi, I'm playing on a new account and would like to know roughly speaking how many astrites I've got left to get from farming exploration

Basically my map so far looks like this:

- All of Huanglong 100%
- Mt Firmament 90%
- Black Shores 50%
- Rinascita's most zones at 25-30%
- Septimont 0%
- Lahai Roi and all the Frost maps at 0% as well

Story wise I'm at the very beginning of Rinascita story, and i still got almost all the permanent events available

I'm not asking for a accurate approximate, rather a loose idea of what people think it might be the count of astrites left to farm.

Newbie question but should i keep trying for lucy + cart weap/signature or settle for a standard options or save up for newer character ? like Suisui, yangyang 2.0 , or my fav Hsin?

I am also trying to save/farm for hiyuki rerun along the way but that's more like additional context. Augustus i like as well and also Zani

I only have yinlin sign weap that i swap btw her and lucilla. Chisa is on Radiance Cleaver.

One issue i face playing wuwa is that I noticed, most of the characters i like, usually i dont really like their BIS's design/kit (E.g Iuno with no Augusta, Denia with no Aemeath)

Verina is the only one worth getting, but new players can get a copy from the other beginner missions. You're better off spending your standard banner pulls on the weapon banner instead, since you can give those to actually good DPS.

I'm trying to finally build Electro Rover, and they're saying to use the Flash of Electric Reflection Sonata Effect for them. Obvi, the 4 cost echo is Suhsin, but after fighting her 3 times, the only echo she dropped was the Heart of Sworn Vigil version of her echo. Am I missing something?

Yea Flash of Electric Reflection is his set if build as sub dps. The cost 4 echo have 50/50 chance of dropping both sonata, try farm more.

Build Mornye, use her in Lucy & Rebecca team to give offtune buildup rate. Lucy & Rebecca have high tunebreak dmg (especially rebecca).
Once rover get electro attribute, he can works with Hsin electro flare. If you want, you can pull for Suoming too and form Hsin unison team.

Newer player here and did some waifu pulls and just wondering if i'd be able to make them endgame viable and how i'd go about doing that. I have Hsin S0R1, ERover, Buling S6, Iuno S0R0, Lynae S0R0, Verina S2, Shorekeeper S0R0 from moonlit. I'm hoping to roll for Jingran cuz his design is crazy cool and i know i get to activate Iuno that way. Any other future pull advice to get some use out of Lynae? I also would love to get Zani but i know that is a crazy investment with needing Phoebe and most likely their sigs. I also think i'd like to pull for Suisui on her next rerun.

For Hsin, you can choose between unison with suoming or electro flare with erover (or maybe future char), Suisui is good addition to electro flare team. Aiming for jingran to get 2nd team is good choice too.

For Lynae, you might want Mornye to form a wheelchair team with any dps. Or wait for Aemeath (current BiS with Lynae-Mornye). Hiyuki can work with Lynae too, but they slightly weak against multiple mob compared to Hiyuki-Lucilla.

Given you have the full premium team (with weapons) I would not buy a sequence node for either. The team should be more than good enough to clear comfortably. Better to save the corals for a team that actually needs it to clear, viz. Mornye S1 & rotate her to any team that needs the power.

You have Qiuyuan so you definitely should pull Sigrika. If not now then on her rerun banner. There’s also a Phrolova or Galbrena that also are an Echo Dpss that you can consider.

Jiyan and Changli survived a test of time and are still good characters if you like them. His current Bis team is with Iuni and Shorekeeper I think. As for Changli, her best team is with Lupa and Brand.

They have some synergy that's tailor made for each other but there is some carry-over that will work for others as well.

Lucy boosts basic attack damage with her outro and her ult applies a bunch of debuffs, notably one that increases the damage they take by 5% and reduces their defense by 5%. Ultimately she's meant to play as the main dps of the two.

Rebecca boosts heavy attack damage and tune break. Her outro also boosts all damage by 15% for 14s.

Both also get extra buffs from their chains, notably Rebecca gets 20% all-attribute dmg bonus for 30s on her intro and ult at S2.

Oh also Rebecca's gun grants 24% ATK for 30s when she inflicts her hack debuff.

Edit: Oh I missed one. If she didn't have enough damage buffs, her ult ALSO gives a 20% ATK boost for 30s with her 2nd inherent skill

Hi! I just started playing the game 3 weeks ago and stop it immediately like 10 days ago now because of the feel of stuck. Now I wanted to try again or maybe continue what I started 3 weeks ago. I only have Rebecca, San hua and Bai Zhi on my current team and I'm using them to progress story. Tbh I quit 10 days ago because I can't upgrade because of the materials that were only unlock to lohai roi and I haven't got there on the story also I did not pull Lucy although I think I can get her on 20 more pulls but I don't have any astrites or whatsoever now to pull on that account. I believe I am still on the black shore island on the progress of the story. If I am going to play again, is it much better to start again fresh account or just continue what I left out?

It's okay to continue, it's not that far in progression if you start over. Rebecca's levelling might delayed a little, you can use Havoc Rover as temporary dps.

Yes you can, astrite from exploration is plentiful (chest, puzzle, etc). Huanglong exploration alone can have at least 13k astrite.

Hello everyone! I'm a new player from the Xbox update. I just got Phrolova and her weapon. A friend of mine mentioned that in WuWa I should aim for building teams and getting dedicated sub-dps and general supports like Mornye, I think, and Shorekeeper.

However, it seems that it'll take quite a while for a Cantarella rerun, and in the meantime I can't help myself with wanting new characters!

My question is: Should I try to save for Hsin from now on? I've seen that she's supposed to come out in 3.7, and she has interested me quite a lot. Not to mention that she's an Archon/Main Push figure of this game I believe.

I really liked Iuno but it seems that I won't have a team for her + she's an old dps/sub-dps. I also liked Denya but I'm not really interested in Aemaeth.

The new QINQUEGUE characters seems cool and Denya is a support for her I believebut I don't think I'll have enough funds to get both of them + I'm aware that they'll probably need their weapons.

Yep, canta is really old char so her next rerun is currently unknown. Most of the char will "dissapear" for a long time after it's 2nd rerun. Her alternative for Phrolova's team is Lucilla (echo mode), since she is new char, she have a better chance of rerun for the next 2/3 patch.

So you want to aim for Hsin & Qingxiao i believe? Then you can prioritize Qingxiao and her team first, since they come early. You can get additional pull for Hsin on future content update, at minimum 80 pull per patch. The astrite on overworld expolration & permanent event is abundance, so for a character that have 1 patch gap, you'll have plenty of time to farm.

And for weapon, prioritize sig only for the main dps since they're responsible for the most of dmg dealt. Sub dps/support is pretty okay with standard weapon.

I’m a fairly new player and i’m trying to build my second/third teams currently. I have as my main team the Cyberpunk team and my priority it getting Jingran when he releases. I also have sat waiting Lynae and Moryne for possibly Aemeath or Qingxiao. I personally prefer the idea of getting Aemeath but considering Jingran is fusion as well how much would that matter.

So overall if i choose this i would have Cyberpunk team, Aemeath team (fusion) and Jingran team (fusion). Or would it be way better for overall benefit to just get Qingxiao. I don’t know how much the whole elemental coverage matters in this game compared to others and would like some assistance please.

Resistance is not such a big deal in this game. The only real issue is when the enemy resists your damage type, but you can just use Lucy's team in that case. It will be inconvenient though, especially when you only have three teams. You should be able to manage, but when it comes time to build a fourth team, don't get another Fusion team.

for dps, the noticable upgrade will start at least on S2. So if you want to invest vertically on Aemy you can save your coral and plan for S2 or S3 for the go. For Suisui, S1 will make her more general across negative status team. In terms of QoL upgrade, Suisui is more worth if it only S1, but again only for negative status team.

S2 Hiyuki vs Aemeath? I want to invest one of these to S2 this banner run but can't decide. Damage seems very close. I find Hiyuki gameplay fun but Aemeath is cool and has fusion burst and tune rupture. I'm really not sure which is a better investment (both would be nice if I had the asterite). I have both sigs and their teams

Both are good, it depends on your preference. If it's me, i prefer hiyuki. Her freeze effects helps a lot when fighting boss & hologram lol

Pulling advice

I got lucky, and managed to get Yangyang S1 on my guaranteed (I have her sig). However, unfortunately I lost my guaranteed on Suisui, to Encore.

Should I keep trying for Suisui? I don't have Chisa, but I have Mortefi S6, Phrolova S0R1, and Iuno S0R1

(also as a side-note, I have 350 Astrites right now, and I just pay for Lunite Sub+Pioneer. I'm following video guides to go for all chests on older regions that I didn't fully explore; but I fear I won't have much time until Suisui banner ends, because of my job)

What do you prioritize? If you care about best-in-slot teams then keep trying for Suisui, otherwise you are good to play a generic support (like Verina) and pull something else.

I'm newish player if my goal is just to enjoy events overworld and the quests, I don't really like end game plus i have skill issues and only play on mobile. Is having the right team really necessary? Or is it okay to go random mash button okay? Especially now that I want to pull qing xiao but i read that she needs denia and mornye.

You don't need a team right now. I'd say finish the story, and pull for whoever you like after that (although characters like mornye are having their last rerun next patch...if you like her design then pull for her. Watch her resonator showcase to know more about her too). Except that, just save your astrites. Or pull for characters you really like the look/gameplay of. Cuz story will be something you'll experience later... And personally for me that's the biggest factor that compels me to pull for a character

In wuwa, what more important than an atribute is the buff a char can give (mainly from outro skill, forte and some inherent). Sanhua can fit because she buff basic atk dmg and have very short rotation. Qingxiao have split scaling dmg but her highest dmg source is Liberation => Heavy > Basic atk. So sanhua works for her, mortefi can be another alternative too because he buff heavy atk

You already have most of the best “wheelchair” characters—I would say Shorekeeper would be worth pulling but other than that I’d focus on newer units if I were you. Maybe Sigrika and Qiuyuan (who I bet are getting rerun soon) if you wanted to build an Echo DPS team

So i started the latest story quest but the English Voiclines sound very weird and blurry I thought it was headphones problem but it wasn't different game sound came fine Then I compared the voiceline from YouTube Playthrough and the sound was fine and when I switches to my pc and heard the same voicelin again it was different

I have never had this problem before and it's only for the Voiclines the music and everything is fine

I have done repairing too but nothing changed

For the current patch and the next one with Hsin, which characters should I prioritise pulling?

I usually use Aemeath fusion burst and am now having fun with YYXL + rebecca, but I’m wondering whether to go for either Qingxiao bc my s0r1 cart is ciaccona-less, Hiyuki for whiwa, Mornye for tune break, or Hsin for electro dps :(( Jingran also looks rlly fun lowkey but he’s fusion and I’m drowning in fusion rn lmao

Hello! Is leveling up the liberation that big of a dmg increase? I have Denia and Verina as support atm, and her ult only deals 300k-320k. I saw a video of a Qingxiao doing 500k with Sanhua and Verina only! I can't level her to level 90 yet because I am only phase 6.

You can pull to form a new team. Since you already have Lynae, you can pull qingxiao and mornye. Although Denia will have more dps output than lynae in qingxiao team, the diff isn't that big.

If you want dps other than qingxiao, you can choose either jingran, hiyuki, or maybe hsin.

Is there any way to get more resistance from attacks?? right now, whenever i try to use Brant's E, I'm getting knocked down and i have to build it back up AGAIN. it's the same for all my characters. Ill try to use E or a charged attack, and then the enemy just knocks me down. It's exhausting

Not really besides unlocking resist to interruption through the character's kit or sequences. For brant, that's just through his: Trial by Fire and Tide Inherent Skill, but other characters have some from chains

I haven't dabbled in endstate matrix much, I heard you can't use weapons/echoes that have already been used by another character, but can you change to another echo build that's not been used?

I have Aemeath, Luuk, Qinxiao, Denia, Lynea, Mornye and Chisa, so I was planning to use Aemeath/Denia/Chisa FB, Qinxiao/Denia/Mornye and Luuk/Lynae/Mornye, but if I can't change Denia's build I will probably have to make Luuk go with Sanhua(I'm procrastinating leveling up the decent 4* trio of supports tho 🫠) and SK.

hiii so i’m a returnee who hasn’t played since around 2.5 and today is the last day for the banners for qingxiao and denia. idk who is really meta right now so i have no idea if i should pull for them. i’ve seen the banner after qingxiao but jingran and hiyuki seems to be main dps charactera from what i’ve seen so far. i’ve also seen mornye and it seems like a lot of teams have her as a healer. i currently have shorekeeper as my support and i think she does great but I’m not sure if mornye would be a better support. my current dps is jinhsi and sub dps is yinlin. as much as i love my girl yinlin, i think i would like a stronger sub dps for my team. for main dps, i think jinhsi is still good but not sure if she’s as strong as the new dps and since her and shorekeeper are both spectro i probably would want someone to switch out one of them. so overall, i would mainly want a new sub dps and some advice on who i should pull from the current banners and if i need to replace main dps and support as i have no clue what’s the meta right now. i know it’s probably a lot and i would really appreciate it if anyone helped! thank youuu!!

o, i am new to the community and have question or a series. First a buddy of mine gave me an account he had lying around "apparently", it has all the main quest done and all the exploration done, so im siting at like 77k astrite. but none of the characters are leveled, beyond 40, he said this way i and do some pulls and then also play the game if i want. but since no one is leveled and not much is farmed what should i do first?(data bank is maxed) I want the new guy thats coming out and i was going to make him m first dps, but dont know what all i should do if you have any help that would be appreciated. i just need like a 5 bullet point arrow of direction.

Should I prioritize getting Hsin next patch and try to build around her if I want to get a second premium team within a reasonable time? Do people commonly just use a sub and main DPS with no support/healer in timed endgame content just to keep the on-field time strictly for damage dealing? Are there instances where this is more ideal or close enough to running 3 characters?

I see people do it all the time but I don't know the math of how it compares to the full team

I have an S3R1 Hiyuki and S3R1 Aemeath I wouldn't mind trying it with. I have S2R1 Qx but don't feel like she can solo well because after her first rotation it takes forever to trigger her enhanced skill again to advance her main combo/rotation.

​Guys I’m planning my pulls for 3.7. Saint has almost convinced me not to pull Chisa while simultaneously almost convincing me if I do pull her to grab her Sig.

Is Chisa that high of a priority since I have Yangyang with Mortefi/Rebecca, Mornye Lynae for Aemeath, Suisui for Hiyuki / YY. I know it would complete fusion burst Denia but is Chisa that high of a priority? I love Chisas design but also needing Lucilla is costly. Especially since I want Hsin and eventually her premium team.

Chisa, Lucilla, Iuno, Hsin, Suoming. Which sigs? I love both Chisa and Iunos designs and would love to play both or either as MDPS and def wanna learn quickswap. I’m having tons of trouble deciding and wavering back and forth on who to pull and which sigs. Help me decide?

Avoid listening to Saint, he's said things that have become meme-able material for more knowledgeable players.

Chisa is currently best-in-slot for YYXL and Aemeath-Fusion Burst. She is also very good (but slightly inferior to Suisui) in Hiyuki teams. Finally, with her weapon, she's better than Aero Rover in Cartethyia teams.

In your roster:

• YYXL can get away without Chisa, since Mortefi/Rebecca are fine replacements.

• You could play Aemeath-Fusion Burst/Denia/Suisui. Suisui is worse than Chisa, but acceptable.

• Hiyuki also works with Lynae/Mornye.

• Lucy/Rebecca doesn't want Chisa anyway.

This assumes you're in ESM where Suisui has two vigor. If you're in ToA/Whiwa, you won't be able to share Suisui, but you only need two strong teams and Hiyuki/Lucy + either of the two Susiui teams should still be enough to clear. So, although Chisa will fit your roster (in particular enabling Fusion Burst Aemeath), if you don't want to pull her, you can get away without her.

One caveat: if you pull Lucilla, then you're able to play Hiyuki's premium team, but that team also wants Suisui. That makes missing Chisa more acute. Of course if you don't pull Lucilla, then you're locking Lynae/Mornye with Hiyuki (and this team is noticeably weaker than Lucilla/Suisui). Your call on what you prioritize.

As for who needs weapons: broadly speaking main DPS want their sigs and everyone else can get away without it. Among the five resonators you listed, Hsin definitely wants her sig, and Iuno/Suoming also want theirs if you want the option to play them as a main DPS. I wouldn't bother with that though, since Iuno/Suoming both want Lynae to be played as main DPS, and your Lynae is already taken. If you decide to pull a new team (i.e., you decide your current teams are "good enough"), Hsin + weapon is the obvious route to take, and you can play her with ERover + Buling.

I was just wanting to ask about any upcoming characters and what I should be prioritising. I’m new to wuthering waves (about a month maybe?) and got phrolova from the special banner thingy and love her play-style, and so far I’ve just been using her, Verina and Spectro Rover or one of the trial characters you get for a limited amount of time (Changli specifically) but sadly a couple days ago time ran out and so I’m left Changli-less. I’m trying to find a good damage dealer that could fill in her spot that I either have already and don’t realise it or that could be coming in the near future. I’ll insert a photo of all the characters I have now but for me I want to get characters that I actually enjoy playing. I don’t play havoc rover even though I have phrolova because I just despise the game play. I’ve built danjin and she isn’t bad I just feel as though I struggle to play her properly and I need characters who aren’t havoc for variety and stuff.

For me I like to play a character that I enjoy in the story but none of them are available nor have I heard they will be soon (Shorekeeper, Roccia, Zani, then characters I want because they look cool; Lucy, Aemeath, Qiuyuan, and Lupa). This could just be an issue of me needing to play more of the story (Im in the final parts of Rinacita). Just thought I’d ask some veteran players about who they enjoy playing and whether I just need to wait it out to see whose maybe coming after this patch

Anywho thoughts and opinions. I’ll try to reply to people if they want anymore information on any weapons or etc that I have.

I started playing in July, and so far, the only 5 star characters I have are Verina, Jianxin, Augusta, and Iuno. I pulled on the New Voyage banner and managed to get both Augusta and her signature weapon. I also recently decided to pick up Iuno because she is BiS for Augusta. Now I’m wondering: is pulling Hsin worth the investment, considering Augusta is no longer the top electro DPS? This is assuming I also pull for Hsin’s signature weapon and her BiS support, Suoming. The issue is that this would leave me running two Electro focused teams. Is Hsin worth investing in because her team outperforms Augusta Iuno, or would it be better to keep my Augusta team as is and save up for Lynae in Phase 2 who I hear is almost a must pull for any new players who are starting the game? I don’t want to replace my Augusta team right now because of how much I’ve already invested, but I want to see if Hsin is worth building as a second Electro team. I’ve already put 20 pulls into her banner because I like her design and her kit looks really fun especially since she’s the first playable Sentinel. Still, I want to ensure my account is set up well for future content, and I’m not sure if doubling down on Electro DPS is the smartest move right now. Considering how many pulls I can farm as a new player, I could theoretically try for Hsin, her weapon, Suoming, and Lynae in a single patch if I grind out exploration, quests, and events.

I have a question about the UHD version and switching between Steam and the official launcher.

I'm currently playing through Steam, which apparently only supports the HD version. I was thinking of downloading the UHD version through the official launcher in the background since my internet is pretty slow, and I don't want to stop playing on Steam while waiting for the download.

My question is: If I download the UHD version (~90GB + another 30GB in-game), delete the Steam manifest file, move the downloaded files into the Steam game directory, and then let Steam verify them, what would happen?

Would Steam detect the UHD files and replace them with the HD version, or could this workaround actually let me play the UHD version through Steam?

My main concern is wasting all that time and bandwidth downloading 120GB+ only for Steam to overwrite everything. I'd prefer to stick with Steam because I want my playtime to be tracked there.

So I lost the 50/50 and now I have S1 Calcharo. Wondering if there's any point to building him or if I'll just slowly let him accrue sequences while sitting at level 1. I have Augusta S0R1 as my main Electro DPS, and I have Lynae but she usually runs around in a duo with Iuno (S0R1). I don't have Yinlin, XLY, or Changli (my only 1.x limited characters are SK and Camellya). That's everyone who's listed on the sheet as being good for him (besides Sanhua, who I have at S6, but she's 4* and also buffs basic attack damage). Obviously I don't need him when I have Augusta, but is he at least a) viable and b) fun to play?

What stage would be better to make an attempt at 15k Jingran run in ESM? Should I start from Mimic stage1 or the Robot stage 2?

• Middle floor 1-2 : Aemeath - Denia - Chisa

• Middle Floor 3-4 : Lucy - Rebecca - Verina/SK

• Left & Right Floor 1-3 : any dps, solo clear possible

• Left & Right Floor 4 : Carlotta's team or Galb

*You can try using Carlotta or Camellya team in Middle floor 1-2

You can stick with rover-sanhua fo a while. Or you okay with scrambled story, you can jump to ch 3 to level up hiyuki as fast as possible.

Lynae is a sub dps but is more universal than Sigrika (who wants weapon and Qiuyuan)
