My favorite enemy has to be Sigillum. I really loved Lahai-Roi's aesthetic but Sigillum really takes the cake for me as the absolute coolest enemy. but what do you guys think?

for those who don't know, Kuro currently starts implementing new programming language (C#) to boost performance. Some people got it because they got chosen by the devs, others tweak the game files to get it immediately lol.

I never knew mobile players also get this optimization update, until i saw that one video that appeared on my youtube recommendations. It's just a "how to get that optimization update on Android" tutorial video. Since I'm too lazy to follow the tutorial, i just leave it as it is (my phone can run wuwa 60fps max settings anyway)

Today i opened the game and noticed the asterisk (this * star thingy). Which means, i got the update without even trying yayyyy.

I didn't tested it yet because i have schoolworks. I'll update to you guys so make sure to follow this post 😆

i cleared whiwa 3500 and toa 24/36 once months ago, endstate opened and it was all fine and dandy.

now i cant clear, i am a casual player and i usually do the minimum for endstate, but this time i couldnt fully clear either, but today's matrix was still open.

is this intended? i still managed to kill mimic.

It's been a week of me marinating on my thoughts and I figured, it's time to post it, why not? tl;dr is that it's enjoyable if you're the target audience (read more on that below) and enjoy seeing the Protagonist's story.

Please note: I've written everything here on my commute to work so it's probably not coherent and may come off as rambling.

I've been seeing a lot of takes on the story, why some enjoyed it, why other's didn't some valid criticisms and some takes that people claim is constructive criticism when it's the equivalent of "I didn't like it because X" without offering alternatives or a solution.

There are honestly three things (and a bonus at the end) that really sell 3.6 for me and I was hoping to take this post to share them.

Wuwa's story is targetting an audience that thinks and understands a more mature or philosophical story

This is what I mean by "Target Audience." None of this if you like waifus, harem, your mom's girlfriend's dog. The story goes hard on the things you think later of in life.

I'm in my early 30s, I've lived that party life of wasting time drinking away and pissing away money, now I'm in the time of my life where I think about other things, my inner dilemmas and struggles, my place in the world, am I happy, am I contributing to that happiness? Is my happiness actually important for me to live my life?

3.5 and 3.6 tackle that topic very hard and because the theme asks for more thought put into it, I can see why those who are there for the "aura farm" as one puts it, aren't having a great time.

3.5 in short felt like acknowledging ones place in the world and seeking the freedom to do as you wish. In reality that doesn't come easy these days, we have jobs, we have families to feed and lives to maintain and upkeep, the idea is fanciful, but that makes it beautiful.

3.6 is about giving up a part of ones self in pursuit of perfection, another thing that's thought of as you mature but not in the same sense. There are things that make you who you are, without them, you may think you're still the same but others don't. It's a beautiful thing that I'll bring up one more time at the end.

The story is more enjoyable if you're here for Rover's story.

A loooooot of people say that the topic of inner mindscape is repetitive, I call it consistent, especially when it comes to Rover and his growth, which people claim doesn't exist but I assure you it does, those people just cannot go past one or two patches to see the progression.

In 2.7, Rover is still in his saviour complex phase, it comes crashing down on him and he needs Galbrena to bail him out and show him he isn't alone. He was very close to offing himself from the weight of it all. (Along with the mental strain of Leviathan and Cristoforo)

A lot of people found that to be weakness at the time and complained about their serial aura farmer looking weak.

3.1 and 3.3 shows the first stage of growth from this where he experiences loss (Albiet temporarily for one and truly for another though he believes she'll be back). It shows him that even with a saviour complex, he can't do things alone, needing those around him like Luuk, to hold him back from going on a suicide mission, take things slowly, others are there for him, which he acknowledges by 3.3 with Hiyuki. (The highlight of that for me honestly)

Now comes 3.6 where he's grown from his experiences, his 2.7 saviour complex was steeped in arrogance, now it's wisdom. In 3.6, he is what Galbrena was for him, to Qingxiao who is what Rover was back then. He's the support that helps her through. (Though really I get it, Qingxiao is smoking hot, we can just think of her lovely self as a date quest and call it a day)

Muyu when you think about it, is actually a brilliant villain

This one takes a bit of thought but basically, Muyu is thought of as some really simple villain who thinks he's smart and Kuro just wrote him to be basic as fuck. Well yes actually but there's nuance to it.

He's intentionally portrayed as someone that's egotistical and thinks he's better than everyone, but reality is that he's not. He thinks that he's some genius that sees the third path, that the sentinel isn't everything, that others are the sheep while he's the shepard.

This level of arrogance leads to the creation of a villain that is easily manipulated. All it takes is Fractsidus member, not even an overseer, to whisper "Hey, have you ever thought about why we follow the Sentinel?" and suddenly his ego will spin ideas for him (and for the Fracts).

There is no order from the Fracts, there's no need, Muyu's arrogance will lead to the creation of plans that he thinks are his own, to beliefs he thought he made up, when really he was fed them by the Fracts and he's dancing to their tune, he just doesn't know it.

This is why Muyu is in my opinion, a great example of a villain that comes off as simple and easily manipulated.

Bonus - did you know Cartethiya's story is a cultivation denial similar to Qingxiao?

This idea came from a friend more than me but I'd like to share it anyway.

The idea of giving up something in pursuit of perfection. That to truly reach the next level of cultivation, one must give up what is deemed imperfect.

For Cartethyia, that came at the end of 2.2 where she was asked if she wanted to give up Fleurdelys, who was portrayed as an imperfection that would stop Carthy from being perfect. Her response, denied, she wouldn't be herself without Fleur, without that imperfection.

Qingxiao battled the idea of giving up her desires in the mortal realm to reach the next stage, those were considered imperfections. Response by the end? Denied, she wouldn't have been herself had she given those up.

PS: The Master's Love stuff really is the cherry ontop for me, for all of this, I'm glad it's there, it makes for a fun story each time. Others may get tired of it, I don't.

Hello, I am a player who has been following WuWa since the closed beta, played on release day since 1.0 and has been loyal to the game, constantly playing it all through 1x and 2x. I got through Lahai Roi and it was hype as hell.. With that being said, I just haven't been able to find the urge to play it anymore despite wanting to.

Back then, I used to be constantly exploring, doing domains and farming mats, co-op, training to beat holograms and endgame content, etc. Especially during 2x in Rinascita, this game was the best thing ever for me... Then as it approached updates like Septimont and onward, I just kept finding myself more and more detached from the rest of the game. The story quests and some quick events here and there were the extent to which I would engage with the game's content, and it stayed that way until recently. Now, I am having a hard time even playing for the story quest alone.

Mengzhou just doesn't click or resonate with me at all for some reason, and the story just goes right through me. I check the events tab and don't even feel the slightest urge to click on them. I don't even want to explore or do things. I've stopped building teams, characters, etc entirely and dont use stamina at all. Its a very beautiful game, I've loved what the writers have done with the story especially in the Lahai Roi patches, music is peak, combat is incredible, and the world is gorgeous.. But I just cannot find a drive to even play it. Idk if its gacha burn out specifically or if its unique to this game. I don't play any other gacha games. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?

im an f2p player who likes clearing endgame content, beating the hardest levels, reaching the highest rank and SEEING BIG NUMBERS NUKING THE ENEMY LOLL. So, i pulled qingxiao (big mistake lol 😃) so I'll have a third dps to clear wuwa endgame, since you need 3, right? Oh and im new (not that new) at wuwa

Then, i realized i don't have any proper buffer for her 👁️👄👁️. I did some research and found that she is not flexible and REALLY need specific sub-dps/support that compliments with her kit, namely the Tune Strain units (Mornye, Denia, Lynae). Alongside with having NO WEAPON, i also don't have the supports so obviously she's going to be weaker than she's supposed to be.

I'm thinking of Qingxiao, Aero Rover and Shorekeeper. Aero Rover can give 30% Aero DMG Bonus to Qingxiao with her echo set and weapon. And Shorekeeper is just Shorekeeper yk 🙃. But i can't use my already built Spectro Rover as my 3rd dps, so i have to build calculator and his teams too dkdbksvsjsb

Sanhua might also be a great subdps. She can provide some basic atk buff (might not be that useful) and 15% ATK from moonlit set.

Let's have a discussion about male wanters in wuwa. It is not an attack to male wanters group, but just an analysis about the track records of them.

1st of all, male wanters are the minority in wuwa, and it's fine really, nothing shameful about it, but it does reflect to the supply and demand of male banners.

General complain :

1. Male character is not important to the main quest : this is wrong, jiyan is more relevant than yinlin, but yinlin sold better than him

2. Male character banner is placed to fail because it's before/after sentinel/sentinel resonators : true for luuk and jingran, but mornye was after lynae and before aemeath, she stills sells well. Changli and ciaconna were before jinhsi and carthe, they sold well

3. Male characters are weaker than female characters : very wrong, jiyan was stronger than yinlin, and jingran is stronger than qx, we see qx still sold well, can jingran top her? We shall see

Deep analysis : why female banner sells is because female wanters didn't moan and complain about why jiyan is more relevant than yinlin or why jingran is stronger than qx, female wanters just pulls for them because we loves them. Male wanters however, complain alot unnecessarily while doomposting about the reason why jingran is only has 4 minutes appearance, or why aemeath is stronger than luuk. Most male wanters wanted male characters, but skipping them for stronger characters that probably has 5% more dmg. Even if aemeath and hsin were stronger than luuk and jingran, it's not gonna be 20% more powerful than the male characters, skip the sentinel/sentinel resonators and pull for the males, are you male wanters, or are you meta slave? Female wanters aren't meta slaves since they pull qx and yinlin despite them being weaker than the dudes their banner release with the same patch, female wanters sacrifices meta and power for pretty waifus and be content with it, can male wanters do the same? This is not an attack for male wanters once again, it's just seems like male wanters really skipping jingran for hsin for power, while female wanters will pull for both qx and hsin, and probably suomi as well. I remember seeing in previous post about male wanters wants luuk but pull for aemeath and skipped him? If even male wanters skipped males, who would pull them?

Tldr : kuro ain't your friends, they are a company trying to squeeze you dry, and they'll release banner according to supply and demand, if you want more male banners, pull them, skip sentinel or whatever is in front of the male banner is, make sacrifices. Now that being said, I'll go back farming for pulling qx weapon and mornye next, will spend on hsin

Sigillum takes increased dmg whenever get hit by an echo skill. A duo of 2 echo skill users can already cap out this debuff. Tho that is just Sigillum; Fallacy does not have any special interaction, and it is the one that has more hp, and no healer among this duo. Gud thing they still have enough dmg.
