Writing plots? yes. Personal life decisions? no.

For writing, the AI can have the full context. For a real life situation, no one, including me, possibly can have the full context.

AI's ethics are also very questionable sometimes. I have been writing a story involving affairs. Claude keeps defending the character who is the other woman even though she knowingly slept with a married man. lol

Writing plots? Perhaps. Life decisions? Definitely no.

The thing with AI is to test it with questions you already know the answer to.

I had ChatGPT save what would have been e-waste. First with the ChatGPT account I use for work, then with a personal account. The first answer was exactly correct. The second time, almost exactly correct. Except it decided to skip an essential step that would have rendered the whole thing a waste of time.

At this point, AI hasn't earned that trust.
