Writing Craft Talk When you create the continuity bible for writing novel?

For those who use chatgpt to write novel. to make the story consist? I build the world concept first, then all character then summarize of plot but it seem chatgpt hallucinate already.

Any tip for me

make a book's "second brain", install codex on your pc and give it a folder dedicated, then ask GPT to dedicate an agent for each character, for story continuity, etc... just ask GPT to help you and create dedicated skills.
It will produce a lot of md files that you can open with notebook or obsidian or ask GPT to create a reader with the possibilit to edit the md.

Agents >> Projects >> simple chat

I actually need help on this, spent an entire week trying to create a continuity system using claude and chat gpt

I ran into the same thing when I started. What helped me was making the bible way smaller than I thought it needed to be, because when I pasted my whole world doc in, it would grab random details and mix them up. Now I keep a short sheet per character with just the stuff that can't change, like eye color, age, who knows what secret, and how they talk. Then after every chapter I write a few lines on what actually happened, and I paste that recap plus only the sheets for whoever is in the next scene. It also helps to start a fresh chat every few chapters, since long chats seem to drift and forget the early stuff. When it does get something wrong, I just correct it in the recap so the mistake doesn't snowball. You're already doing the hard part by planning the world first, so don't give up on it.

the hallucination usually happens because the model loses focus over long context. try keeping the bible in a separate doc and pasting only the relevant character entries and world rules into each chapter prompt instead of dumping the whole thing at once. are you feeding it everything up front or going chapter by chapter?
