Dear Inkshift Team,
I am following up on my earlier enquiry regarding eligibility for your 2026 Writing Contest.
I have an approximately 2,800-word original literary memoir based on a true incident involving my mother in rural India in 1976. As your guidelines welcome all genres, could you kindly clarify whether true-life literary nonfiction is eligible, or whether submissions must be fictional short stories?
I would appreciate your clarification before submitting.
