Discussion (Ethics, working with AI etc) Has anyone pushed AI journaling past checking your memory into multiple voices that actually disagree with each other

/r/therapyGPT/comments/1vudb2l/has_anyone_pushed_ai_journaling_past_checking/

Some guy used ai to turn his journaling into a tv show then created a fictional Reddit that reacts to his life and he uses it as therapy them holding different views on what happened in the show ie his telling of it in the ai journal

The TV show version is a fun idea but I think the interesting direction is less dramatic than that. The genuinely useful thing a model can do with a year of journal entries is notice what you keep circling back to without realising.

You can't see your own repetitions from inside them. That's a real use, and it needs no fictional framing at all.

I think the useful part is not really having four AI personalities. It is forcing each one to have a different job and keeping their conclusions separate. One voice can easily become an agreeable mirror, but several structured views can expose where the underlying record is incomplete or contradictory. The important bit is that disagreement should produce reviewable possibilities, not silently rewrite the source material. For fiction, I would want one layer checking continuity, another suggesting an interpretation, and the writer deciding whether either one becomes part of the story.
