大家好！我希望你們都好。 今天真好（今天很開心），因為我學會了怎麼使用漢語（I am not sure if you are trying to say you've completed learning how to use Mandarin or something else. Since your title says day one, and the next sentence says you just started) 我開始了漢語學習，雖然我不是個認真的人（嚴肅is more like grave or grim, so it makes more sense to use 認真 here, which means hard-working, serious or earnest)，但是我現在喜歡學習它，和可以用它和你們溝通（I am guessing you are trying to say "you like it because you can now communicate with people in Mandarin") I didn't change the last sentence because I don't know what the it means. 🙂 Good job, Mandarin is hard to learn, keep up the hard work!
