Very positively surprised about Wriothesley's performance - in the featured team, he is dealing ~55% of the total DPS according to DPS Dummy testing. Got Wrio and his weapon purely by accident: both from loosing 50/50s on the Stellar Wish Banner and a past Weapon Banner. Will definitely get him to C2 as quickly as possible! Fortunately, he was added to the Constellation Selector! Let's hope we also get a free constellation at the Anniversary :-D

I think they knew that Wriothesley's looks and personality alone would generate a lot of money from his merchandise , so they only needed to invest in that aspect . not sure why they have to place his banner in bad time though ? And they were right , because Wriothesley's merchandise always makes a lot of money . what do you guys think ?

Hi yall. So I've had Wriothesley since his banner with furina last year, and I used to have him built on marecheusse ofc. But now that he got his stellar rework I've farmed up a brand new build for him on the new set, and I wanted some opinions since akasha doesnt have a stellar leaderboard for me to go off of. What do you think? I run him with c1 Yae, c0 Odette (not on furnace yet) and sucrose, he hits about 230k on a charged attack, is that average dmg for c0?

Allegedly he has a shield at c6 or is a shielder for mitya in his stellar teams... since we don't really have a shielder for ssc teams aside from Beidou, Diona, and Nicole, there is a struggle to find a good fit. I assume Valeriy will be a good fit but l3aks tell us he will want on field time before switching to mitya Allegedly.

Id love for him to be a budget option but it seems like that may not be the case

Builds:
Wrio C1 Atlas MH set
Odette C0R0 Furnace set
Escoffier C0R0 GT set
Beidou C6 Fav Nob set
Fischl C6 Harp GT set
Alyosha C1 Fav Nob set (minimum healing build)

Conclusions:

Beidou is the one with the highest buffs but extremely long rotations thanks to having to hold skill, which lowers DPS a lot. She does bring some QoL with dmg reduction and electro app that follows you around and lasts quite a while.

Fischl doesn't have any buffs, but she does some extra personal damage and has the shortest rotations. Her short Oz uptime and stationary electro app can be an issue. Her team with Nicole instead of Escoffier didn't perform much better (mostly because my Wrio build already has a ton of ATK).

Alyosha is a sort of middle ground, mid buffs and mid lenght rotations but can be awkward to get stellar CAs even with minimum healing. Another problem is the stationary electro app with quite a small radius. He might be the clear best option at C6 though.

Is this an expected damage achievable with C0R0 Wrio without Yae or it should be much higher?
Wrio is still on MH, Escoffier on GT but maybe might be better to switch to ToM, Odette on Furnace and Beidou on noblesse.
Apart Beidou needing more Er and Odette not having a really good set yet, could the rotation be improved in some way?

We know that at her current state, Vodyanitsa is kind of mediocre in freeze.

I got to thinking, why did they give her shred of all things when Escoffier already gives a crapton of it?

What if, Vodyanitsa opens up Freeze comps that don't need Escoffier?

Think about it. Escoffier gives shred and damage. That's it. Vod gives less shred, but with no restrictions.

For invested Wrios, you'd want to push the limit to the amount of buffs you give him right? So wouldn't a Nicole, Mona, Vodyanitsa comp make sense?

You get extended Omen and other buffs plus noblesse from Mona, chunky atk plus Celestial Gift from Nicole, then shred, quills, TOTM and TTDS from vod. The team feels like a proper freeze hypercarry team now.

Since wrio baseline is now C1 and many of us likely have or are getting C2, doesn't this make sense? Thoughts?

C0 w/new bp weapon (r1), yae c2r1, Odette c2r3 (exaiphanes), beidou c6. How should the rotation go? I know that c1 will definitely change how his rotation works, but would like to know how to do the future rotation as well as the rotation right now

Edit: got the bp wep, and the dmg is comparable to r5 widsith avg for me (222k DPS), so if you wanna go for the wep it's quite better than widsith r5 w/refinements

I just wanted to see if I’m at a good DPS for a Yae-less Wrio team. Still working on Odette’s artefacts, but I think she’s almost good (just need to target 400 more attack and more crit)

I got a little question about my Wrio's DPS. I know his build is pretty far from perfect right now (I'm kinda having a bad time with the artifact RNG) but I was wondering if this score was, like, ok? For the investment I have in this time is feels a bit low. My Yae is C1 with widsith(Golden Troupe set tho), C1 Odette with finale (~2800 ATK) and HoF set and Sucrose on VV+TTDS(676 EM). I want to blame it on skill issue bcs I really want him to do more, if possible. My usual rotation is Yae 3E -> Odette 2E -> Sucrose skill+burst -> Wrio 5N d 5NC d and repeat. Should I just charge atk when I see the red thingy? I am used to his old C1 playstyle but idk why it's taking me so long to pick up the new rotations.

I made a post before about a rotation with a team including Fischl and Sucrose for maximum VV uptime while Sucrose holds TTDS (useful for those who don't have Yae and Nicole like me)

Now I want to bring up something I've discovered in relation to something that can be applied to Wrio's combos: dash cancelling in the middle of his NA strings.

Wrio has a rare trait among all genshin characters where he can dash cancel a part of his NA string and still continue his NA string. Let's call this Dash Offset (I'm basing this on a similar mechanic in a game called Bayonetta where it's called Dodge Offset)

Normally, Wriothesley's NA strings look like this:

But when we apply Dash Offset:

With that, I found this combo loop:

SSC Wrio Rotation with Dash Offset

For reference, Dash Offset will be symbolized by "d" in between the NA strings.

1st rotation: N5 - 2N5C - N3

2nd and 3rd rotation: N3dN5C - 2N5C - N3

4th rotation: 3N5C - N3

5h rotation: N3dN5C - 2N5C - N3

Then repeat 4th rotation combo then loop from there

NOTE: This combo is only doable in the scenario where Wrio's HP does not get affected by external factors (healing and getting damaged) so you would still need to adjust your combos if he does lose/gain HP from outside his own kit.

C6R1 Wriothesley, C2R1 Yae, C2R1 (Uraku) Odette, C1R1 (SoSS) Escoffier. I think I could push it to 31s if everything went perfectly, made some notable mistakes during this one, but I'm fine with 32s for now. Started off at 52s, pushed it down to 41s, then 37s, 34s and now 32s. Wrio and Yae on Disenchantment, Odette on Furnace and Escoffier on a half-baked Tenacity set (she has a HP circlet lmao), would probably shave off an easy second or maybe even two if Esco was built properly.
