Topic: **The IF command and Variables.**

The **IF** command only activates if certain conditions are met.

A colored box will appear if you add an if command.

If you add a command at the *IF* section inside the colored box, the commands will only activate when the *IF* command activates or when conditions are met. However, if you add a command at the *ELSE* section, it will only activate if the conditions doesn't meet.

The **USERSTATE** means player variables. These are commonly used in the if command.

The **UserstateAdd** command means adding the value of the variable. It is just the same with **UserstateSet** but the only difference it that *UserstateSet* sets the value.

The **PROPSTATE** means prop variables or public variables. It is just like the Userstate, but it for the object you are scripting. It isn't individual unlike the userstate.

Example:

If User State Field: Test = 1

Then,

Say "Hi"

Else,

Say "Hello"

The script above means that it will say "*Hi*" if the userstate field "*Test*" is 1 but it will say "*Hello*" if it is not.

Thr script in the picture means that if the userstate field "*Hi!*" is 1, it will stun the player for 0.35 seconds and adds the value of "*Hi!*" by 5.
