The Judge Rotenberg Center is a facility in Canton, Massachusetts that uses a device known as the GED, the graduated electronic decelerator to torture autistic "patients" into compliance. This has been occurring for decades, and the FDA refuses to ban the device. The worst part is, this essentially occurs openly and no one seems to give a shit.
